Nouw realized that waiting is for the weak and thought to himself that he should continue reading. And just in case he called, he went out in the same uniform he would wear to meet Zeredare.

This is the last time I'm updating this for the day

After thanking the polite women over the comm system, Aza decided it was time to meet the other crew members. Staying in his quarters all day just wasn't his style.

Putting on his official military uniform, ID and slipping his combat knife into his one boot, he walked out the door and made his way towards the command center, hoping to meet the Captain

"Of course." Vfraar said, standing up. "Oh, Captain? The access code for the security systems, may as well get that out of the way before this crisis get's rolling." He smiled apologetically, keying on the communicator in his headpiece as Zeredare rolled his eyes and got up to fetch the code.

"All Sentinel Squadron members are to report to the Captain's quarters immediately." If the people had personal communicators, the transmission would be sent strait to those. If not, it was also being transmitted on the intercom. "I repeat, all Sentinel Squadron member's are to report to the Captain's quarters immediately." He glanced back to Zeredare as the man came back from a side room, holding a small code-device, much like an Old Earth flash drive.

"Thank you, Captain." Vfraar promptly took the device and plugged it into a port on his suit. Instantly, a large and rather complicated display appeared on his Air HUD, with a flashing
Code:
SECONDARY CODE NEEDED
across it.

"Secondary code?"

"9279297774844122421." the Captain recited even before Vfraar had finished the question. Obviously he had done this many, many times.

"Alright... Tertiary Code?"

"9753972642341545558."

"Quaternary code...." The procedure was finished in another minute, with the completion of the octonary code.

"Very good. Record of transaction... complete. Access Granted. Thank you, Captain." Vfraar then stood off to one side of the desk, looking around the three-dimensional map of the ship that was now visible on his HUD, along with thousands of little dots moving around inside it and enumerable little symbols. The interface was extensive and powerful, with hundreds of different layers, modes, and menus, all activated by neural transmitters in his brain. A truly marvelous piece of technology.

"They're all on their way, sir."

Hope you don't mind, Nuke. I figured the Captain wouldn't have had any problem with giving him the codes, as it's standard protocol. If you have a problem with it, I'll edit. (and yes, there were eight codes. Security, security, security :p)

Also, is Sentinel Squad a good enough name for us?

I don't mind, simple things like that I could care less about. It's actual speech or major actions that will tick me off and bring upon my wrath.

And I could care less about what you call us, though some sensitive individual might have a problem if you use abbreviation 'SS'

Ha didn't even notice that. Atleast it doesn't abbreviat into something like 'the N.A.Z. of I.'

When Isaac heard the announcement, he immediatly began walking to the office. Within minutes he was standing in the room. He looked at the man, obviously the captain. "Isacc Stvenson, Sentinal Medic reporting sir" he said with a sharp salute.

Vfraar looked at the new medic thoughtfully, eyes scrutinizing the man's movements as Issac's profile scrolled down the HUD. Born and raised on Black Death, which showed for something, he also got a master's degree by the age of 17. And, apparently, he was a troublemaker, Vfraar noted as a little red box popped up next to the medic's picture.

"Stevenson, welcome to the team. This is the captain of the Great White, Captain Zeredare. I'm Vfraar, your Combat Commander, and this is Rezzea, our Infiltrator." he motioned to the female Nazar standing against the wall, who had come in just moments before. "It appears you're already acquainted with our Demolitions Expert, Regrel."

He smiled slightly as the medic stiffened. "Two people, who won't be named, filed a report on that incident. It seems you "played a practical joke by placing a defused grenade in the center of the room, right under the DE's feet." The hulking Talonisk stared down at the medic with cold, hard eyes, like those of a schoolteacher. "That's kind of in bad taste, don't you think, Stevenson?"

Well, I talked to Dave via phone* and unfortunately he is bogged down in homework for now and will not be able to participate for a while. I will most likely have him be included in a later chapter, provided things get cleared up. The good news is that I have decided that Xero will be taking his place for now, so he shall be added to the list(The second part) and he shall be given a PM.

[sup]Before people ask about the phone, he is in fact my best freind. The reason I call him Dave is because he is not comfortable disclosing information about himself online, and I respect his wishes.[/sup]

After Vfaar introduced himself and the rest of the people in the room, Isaac shook their hands. Then he listenned to Vfraar talk. "Yes sir." Isaac responded, a slight grin on his face "Very bad taste sir. But I honnestly was curious to see what would happen. As it turns out, we hired a very brave Demolitions expert. And don't worry, I'd have patched him up if the grenade had been live. He would be like brand new(assuming he hadn't swallowed it that is)" Isaac said "When you come from where I'm from, bravery and compitence like his is hard to come by. I do get the feeling we got off on the wrong foot however."

Well, at least the kid's smart enough to say sir. Vfraar thought as the medic explained himself. He's a bit too cheery about this though. Regrel would probably have smacked that silly grin straight off his face with the broadside of his grenade launcher.

"...don't worry, I'd have patched him up if the grenade had been live."

This brought forth a slightly amused grunt. Thinks he's hot stuff, too. I wonder how well that fancy med school degree will help him cope with having pieces somebody else's intestines land in his mouth.

"I do get the feeling we got off on the wrong foot however."

"Yea, don't do that." Vfraar said flatly. "That's a bad thing to do with Regrel, trust me. You've got some pretty heavy, brutal stuff coming your way if you wanna get back on his good side. He's not the kind of guy who likes you for buying him a whore." The big lizard man examined the incident report for a few more moments, then sighed. "Well, knowing Regrel, he's already dealt with you in his own way, and probably isn't finished yet. So I'll let him deal with it. You just remember, Stevenson, it's a hell of a lot harder to earn respect then it is to lose it."

Vfraar was fully aware that his "words of wisdom" often times sounded like a schoolteacher or a boring parent, but it was part of the job. If people couldn't stop from doings things the wrong way, then the right way had to be repeatedly pounded into their skulls, even if they didn't like it. Especially if they didn't like it.

[spoiler/] Off topic: HOLY SHIT ITS SNOWING! [/spoiler]

As Regrel stared out into the depths of space he heard a tiny blip from his federation badge. He fumbled with it with his stubby hands, causing a hologram to appear into the air in front of his. The old reptile spoke.

"All Sentinel Squadron members are to report to the Captain's quarters immediately."

[i/] About time [/i] Regrel thought to himself as he reattached his badge and made his way towards the captains office.

Stepping past the security personal the Grel flashed his ID irratabley before making his way into the Captains inner sanctum. The office was high tech in every sense of the word. The Captain was sat his at his desk with his back to a huge floor to cieling window which showed the vastness of space stretched out behind him, giving him the impression like he was some ruler of the universe.

[i/] Flashy [/i] Regrel thought as he stood to attention[i/], but then again we all have our smoke and mirrors.[/i]

There where several other Spectors there too. Vfraar of coarse, who gave Regrel a little nod of the head and his iconic crocodile smile, a female Nazar who he thought he'd seen on the way in and the human biotic who gave Regrel an evil grin which he returned with a glare.

"Reporting for duty sir. I didn't believe the briefing was until later sir."

Rezzea stepped from the wall and put one boot onto the table.
"Alright Captain, what's the deal? A planet? A ship? Perhaps a driller or a mining station?"

No-one got what she meant so she put her foot down and walked around them to the other side of the room.

"Well" She began. "I believe I'm here for a briefing, am I not?"

Lucia was working out in the gym, the gravity turned on higher to increase the muscle gain when he heard the voice on the intercom. After being shown his room, he had headed straight down here. He always liked being in top shape. If he wasn't, his reaction time would be useless without the muscles able to carry it out. "
Code:
All Setinels report to Captain's Quarters.
" Lucia sighed. "That would be me, I guess." He said. He went to his room, changed, then headed for the Captain's Quarters. He took the elevator up. After dealing with the eight codes, he walked in the room, muttering under his breath. "[sup]Bullshit security, not letting me in just because I screw up one digit on the eigth code, making me start over again![/sup]" He faced the commanding officer. "Lucia Tenebris, Special Operations, reporting for duty! Sorry for coming late, sir. Anyway, someone mind filling me in?"

Aza walked straight into the Captains Quarters, holding his ID out like a gold medal, and nodding to everyone he met along with an occasional "Hello", a smile on his face

The quarters were by all means, technologically impressive but it all seemed boring to the Nazar who much preferred the outside world to the computers and hallways of the ships.

Still, respect needed to be paid and he saluted the Captain

"Marksman Aza reporting for duty sir"

Jon received the summons via his internal com, and arrived at the Captain's office just behind a Nazar who introduced himself as 'Marksman Aza'

Appearing in the doorway behind him, Jon smiled and said, "Accompanied by Jon Shannow the mechanic"

Rezzea happily walked over to Aza.
*NL* "I'm happy to see another Nazar here. I'm Rezzea, do not believe we've made acquaintances"*NL*

Rezzea said and reached out her right arm with a warm smile.

NL = Native language, in this case, the Nazar language..

Nice idea, very clever

Bowing slightly, Aza shook Rezzea's hand

*NL*"Pleasure to meet you Rezzea, as you no doubt just heard I'm Aza. I do not believe we have met before, mostly due to the fact that I was raised on one of the far out colonies and had no real contact with the rest of our people until I joined the Scouts division and proggressed into the Marksman division. Also, I talk allot" *NL*

He ended with an embarrassed shrug and smiled happily

Nouw, heard this with a fright, jumping as he heard the message. He returned the book to it's home and marched his way to the Captain's Quarter in excitement.

"AI Mac! Give me the co-ordinates for Captains Quarters" Nouw ordered

" Done and Done sir! he replied

" Back to sleep mode "

And so his faithful AI went back to his usual sleepmode.

With the Co-Ordinates came the Security-Code. He quickly read it and followed the "map"
He walked quietly to the elevator, muttering about space-issues. A near-crash into a food-trolley nearly tripled his anger.

" Its about time. " he said under his breath while punching in the code swiftly and he went up to be greeted by a Nazar.

"Nouw Corien, Stealth Hit and Runner Sentinel. I was told to go to the Captain's Quarter"

What do I now?

Well, now I get to start the first event!

As the Sentinels entered the room one by one, Zeredare remained as his desk, fumbling with the computer in front of him. The lines of never ending code flew past his face faster then any humans could read, however he was able to see the various scripts he was receiving from the other ship in the distance. "Well there certainly is another ship in the sector, and it is moving just as quickly as us. I'm going to bring up the projected imaging to see what comes up." He brought up the holographic imaging from the other ship's command center, the projected image was far from inviting.

The bodies of the ship's crew lied dead over various pieces of equipment, cut down into messes of tissue and gore. A body adorned with metals and other symbols of valor was split down the middle, revealing all the eternal organs. Amongst the piles of gore and broken bodies a single figure lied back into the corpse, looking all most relaxed as it puffed on a cigar. The monstrous figure smiled as it looked into the camerae, showing a mouth filled with blood and fanged teeth. It's skin was covered in hideous boils and scars, obviously a mutant. "So you're the bastards sent to patrol the sector, man you guys are about to have a bad day." The man from the image spoke with a demented glee in his voice. "Ha, This is going to be so much fun!"
And this is where you can ask questoins to a drugged fueled crazy on a suicide missoin, have fun!

[sup]And don't control his response, I have stuff planned.[/sup]

This isn't a very big, story-changing issue, but seeing as two people now have been misguided by my hunger for unnecessarily in-depth and complicated story matter, I'll address it.

The eight codes that Vfraar asked the Captain for were not needed to get into the Captain's Quarters, they were needed for Vfraar to access the ships security systems(cameras, heat sensors, etc.), because he needs direct connection to those systems to properly do his job.

Sorry for the confusion, again. Nobody needs to recite eight lengthy codes to get places ;)
