.. Lots of laws in Sweden at the moment come directly from the European Union, and as we all know, most laws passed in the European Union spring from lobbyists who have meeting around the goddamn clock with the MP's.

I know what you mean, back here in the netherlands we used to have one of the best legal systems in the world. we've had it since the dark ages when we where know as the country where woman would actually survive the witch trails(not all of them but a fair amount). hell the highest court in the world is positioned here. but ever since the EU started shoving their laws down our throats it's been downhill all the way.

I'm quite sure the average Swedish citizen is familiar with the internet, and in general brighter than this. You know atleast one person involved in this process is just barely coming to terms with the existence of typewriters.

If you make it easier to monitor the internet, there is going to come much more technology for organizing into Darknets, and ISP's will help their customer retain their privacy, making it easier for real criminals to hide. Silly people... this is like trying to cure a broken bone with a band aid and asprin. The only reason piracy is an actual issue is because the creators make inferior products/items/etc. and get greedy. Seriously, if a company releases a great game and charge a fair price for it, I know very few people who would ever try to pirate it. The same is true for movies and music - if an artist is truly good and releases worthwhile material for the price, there are few people who would pirate the material.

It's only when corporations start sticking their money-grubbing hands into the pot that piracy ever really becomes an issue. You afftect their bottom line, they declare war.

O.K, I'll stop being a douche, but our current government is worse than the one that was before. They are trying to sell as many state-owned(?) businesses as possible, while they are trying to control us more. I just wanna say one thing: RÖSTA RÖDGRÖNT TILL HÖSTEN!
