I'm happy the way I am.

However, I'm completely inept when it comes to assembly or repair of anything hardware. I've had to ask for help to stop a toilet running because after an hour I was out of options. Meanwhile, they'll take less than 30 seconds to find and stop the problem. I'm like that elderly person who can't grasp how to double click a mouse when it comes to being a handyman.

All of them. I tend to be... obsessively envious when it comes to talents. I want to be able to (in no particular order): write, sing, play musical instruments (all of them), fight, paint, draw, sculpt, cook, learn new languages, make 3D models, make pixel art, do martial arts, build, sneak, safe-crack and lockpick, roller blade, make clothes, design characters, invent, lucid dream, act, tell jokes, perform, interact with other people properly... The list goes on and on. Essentially, I won't ever feel like I'm good enough until I can do everything. I know that's unrealistic, but I really can't help it.

As for talents that I do have... My grades say I'm abnormally good at mathematics, problem solving and interpretation of text. Honestly, they don't feel like talents; they're just normal for me. They aren't things that I can really show off to impress people.

Fellatios The talent of changing the sexual tone of my own voice at will... I think the idea originated came from being fascinated with voice acting in general and it just manifested into the talent I wished I had... (That's the closest I can say to an explanation for wanting this particular talent...)

I guess the talent that makes up for it is the talent to sing both in a male or female voice... I might be a baritone bass with my male singing, but I'm totally a soprano with my female singing... (I can't say the female singing has gone anywhere like my male singing, in terms of preforming in musical productions...)

Pretty much drawing skill especially when I am creative at ideas. Seriously I got quite a few ideas in my head but I cannot get them out in phyiscal plane (drawn out).

I'm pretty sure I understand how you feel. I hate the feeling that there is some part of me that doesn't seem to measure up to someone elses capacity. Even my own talent isn't safe. There are people who can sit down, and type chapters upon chapters of work in one or two sittings, and I sometimes have trouble writing out one chapter. Not because I can't, but because my drive has decreased because of high school (but I have gained some encouragement thanks to a few friends and even people on The Escapist.) It seems like everywhere I turn there's someone who tells me "Writing isn't that hard. I do it all the time" and underminds what it really takes to be a good writer. Sure, anyone can do it, but not everyone can do it well, or in the same way.

Try to find someone you know who can and see if they'll coach you a bit. They can probably be able to teach you the fundamentals.

The only reason I'm able to sing is because of my grandfather teaching me, so don't ever underestimate someone's tips!
No one else in my family can sing ;o;

I do take whatever tips I can, and I try to copy techniques that singers use. I learned the vibrato thing all on my own, but I'm just not that good overall.

S'why I feel I need a professional instead of online lessons. I've self-taught all that I can.
In that case, seeking out some coaching isn't a bad idea at all. The drama department at my university normally has a few notices hanging around regarding singing lessons, so if you have something similar, I'd advise checking there!

Worst case scenario you might have to hit the yellow pages. c:

Talent I realistically could have had? Drawing, painting, other such things.

Talent I really, really want that isn't considered realistic? I really, really wish I could travel fictional universes.

I can draw at a decent level, so that makes up for my horrible ability with animation software.

For talents I wish I had, singing, pixel art, mathematics, picking up on languages...

I wish I could either draw or write. I'm pretty good at coming up with stories and characters, but I lack the skills to actually do anything with these ideas... Instead i tend to write long lists of things in the world of my would-be stories. Yup, I make settings for a hobby...

Way too many to count. Cooking, dancing, drawing, swimming, programming, instruments... I'm not bad at guitar, but I wish I was better. I'd also like to re-learn to play the piano (I used to be pretty decent at it but I haven't touched a key in nearly ten years now). It's just so hard to find the time for all this stuff.

Talents I have? A couple I suppose. I'm good at maths, I like to think. I'm not too bad at martial arts either. The one talent I think have that I discovered recently is teaching. Maybe.

I really wish I could play guitar. I keep on having these at-work fantasies of myself quitting my job by dressing up as Demon Kogure and playing this in the parking lot until I'm inevitably arrested for rocking too hard in the name of various Akuma and, Devils. [sub](note on the link: there is an english version but the youtube link I know for it breaks the song into 5 videos instead of two...)[/sub]

---

As for a talent that I do have since I can't shred in the name of the great, dark ones: I can sing (no, I haven't done youtube kareoke...EVER) and I can draw fairly well.

I also think I'm pretty good when it comes to writing but I haven't written anything recently and what I have posted on DA is on a profile that I'm not...particularly proud of...[sub]I was so pissed when I tried reading 50 Shades...my smut was so much fucking better...I could have got paid for all those random...nevermind...[/sub]

I wish I could sing hymns, but I seem to have a very limited range and f**k-all confidence. Shame, 'tis not to be. I also wish I had a piano keyboard to continue from where I left off all those years ago. Not that I'd have anywhere to put it, though. Probably better stick to sketching.

Hah, well. I tend to find that I am absolutely awful at everything equally so there is a talent I guess.

What I would wish is that I was absolutely wonderful at everything equally.

I wish I could sing better, because it would be such an easy quality to showcase. I sing more often than most people.

The talent I do have is comedy. I'm pretty good at making people laugh.
How you would be so jealous of me. I am considered a counter-tenor with a 4 octave voice range. I can sing stuff from the lord of the rings. I mean the stuff sung by the WOMEN. Too bad I haven't found a place so far where I can use this awesome talent of mine.

A talent I wish I had. I watch a lot of kung-fu films, and I always say to myself "I wish I could kick the way those guys do. I mean the ability to kick your teeth into the back of your throat. If I had that kind of flexibility, I could only imagine the kind of awesome stuff I could do. :(

Oh shit where do I begin? I wish I could draw and create astounding flash animations like some of the more creative people on Newgrounds do. When I took my multimedia course at the college a couple years ago I sat in awe of what my classmates were creating and wondered why the hell I couldn't create anything like that. I was so outclassed it wasn't even funny. Somehow I managed to complete the program with a decent GPA, but I'm not sure how.

I can't play a musical instrument to save my life, its sad, really, because just about everyone in my (and my husband's) family has some kind of musical bent. I can sing fair; people actually do like it when I sing Modest Mouse's 'Float On' in the bar on karaoke night. Unfortunately, I'm regulated to singing male-performed songs, because for some bizarre reason, when I try to sing a song performed by a woman, my voice takes on a very strange quality and I just can't hit the notes right. Meh.

I guess if anything, I wish Spanish wasn't such a epic fail for me. I don't get it; I understand German, French, Latin and Russian well enough to get the gist of what is being said, but I can't wrap my head around a language where if you're saying 'look at the green car go' in English, in Spanish you'll end up saying 'car, green, look at it go'.

I. Just. Don't. Get. It.

On my plus side, I can draw decently, I write well, I'm very fast and dexterous, which catches people off-guard. I'm always up to learning/trying new things, which I think serves me pretty well in life.

I wish I could draw better.

I'm beginning to think anyone who can actually draw thinks they suck at it, is it really such a desirable talent to have if you're forever doomed to never be satisfied with your work?

OT: I wish I could talk better. I sometimes have a very "straight to the point" attitude in conversation.
Especially during work, I'm just horrible at small talk with my co-workers, and they sometimes think I'm rude because of it. I don't mean to be, I'm just not a social person. I also have a hard time expressing my feelings through speech. Writing is much easier.
