Tali WTF

She's the nice girl of the bunch, the friend who's always secretly had a thing for you. Jack's too much of a selfish ***** with way too much baggage about her past, Miranda's the tsundere archetype (with a great backside - someone at Bioware is obviously an ass man), and Samara reminds me too much of Wynne (the duty-bound old-timer). Tali wins, by only a small margin over Miranda.

People can like Tali for five reasons:
1. You're a tech nerd.
2. You think she's hot.
3. You like personality more than appearance.
4. She was the only good romance in ME2.
5. You appreciate a character you can relate to.

Personally I already liked her a lot in the first game, but they didn't develop her as a character much and, since she was the only Quarian in the game, she was charged with the sole duty of explaining every little tidbit of knowledge you could possibly want to know about the Quarians.

Then they made Mass effect 2. My god they made her the best love interest in the game! They developed her as a person a lot and they made her very easy to relate to. They forged her into a far superior character than Miranda or Jack in my opinion.

To sum it all up they made her every nerd's dream. Sexy alien tech nerd with a damn good personality.

I dunno I have 2 main characters I play in ME I had a Paragon Male character who went with Jack I dunno apparently people didn't like the shaved head. I didn't mind it much and she really does open up to be a completely different person.

I couldn't stand Miranda too me she's Morrigan rebooted for Mass Effect which isn't bad for the most part but, I really didn't like her in Dragon Age.

On the subject of Quarian accents; it seems the majority of the voice actors either adopted or sported general eurasian dialects.
Take the fabulous Shohreh Aghdashloo for example, who voiced Shala'Raan.
Iranian descent; and it lends a certain gravitas to the role.

Which is a sentiment I cannot understand at all, to be quite frank.
There are few things in this world more attractive than a woman with short/shaved hair.

This doesn't really matter to me, to be honest. When I get the game I'm going for Kelly, on both my male and female playthroughs. Tali's fine, but no match for Kelly, plus I can't think of much reason to like Tali anyway.Though maybe that's just me...

In the first game, I found the love interests boring. I always wished Tali could have been a romance option because she was such an interesting character. So when I herd that in Mass Effect 2, you could have a relationship with Tali, I rejoiced. I came onto the forms expecting people to say that they had relationships with Miranda/Yvonne Strahovski, but I was surprised to learn that EVERYONE loved Tali. Is it the mask, the hidden arabian accent, or is she just that interesting to people?

Voice seems Russian, dress seems strict Muslim (hence the Arabian idea) due to the veil.

You don't see what's under the mask, the sexy accent is Russian (I believe), and Tali is just an all-around awesome squadmate.

Gotta give a lot of credit for her side story. It actually set up some connection between Shepard and Tali, instead of the player character being the third wheel who happens to make all the decisions.

Tali is interesting, personality wise. She's a normal girl. She's a bit of a wrench wench. Nice ass, nerdy girl... yeah, pretty much...I find her the most relatable. And her romance option is the most, y'know, romantic besides Thanes.
