Usual answers.

Terranigma, goat scene and ending.

Iji, repeatedly. Including the ending and a certain character's death.

Planescape: Torment, too many times to count.

Also, whichever Dragonlance book it was where Flint died.

Not a book or a tv show, but it's a youtube video of soldiers surprising their loved ones by coming home from war early, it gets me everytime

I don't think I've ever fought so hard to suppress tears. I came very close to just breaking down completely on multiple occasions - especially when the loved ones were the soldiers' kids. Thank you for showing me that.

Elfen Lied, believe me, had a lot of those moments.

Nana getting dismembered
Mayu's past
Lucy's dog being beat to death in front of her
Koata's sister and father being murdered in front of him
I could be here all day, really.
thank you....how about the talk between lucy and kouta at the end......did you cry to?

A certain event in episode eight of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann which probably every fan of the series hates and loves with equal measure. The man. The legend.

The Bridge To Terabithia movie. I was one of those people who hadn't even heard of the book and was fooled by those misleading trailers, and when it happened I spent the remainder of the film just staring at the screen, completely dead.

The ending of season four of the new Doctor Who series. Fuck you, Davies. Just fuck you.

Finally, Silent Hill 2. All of it. The entire game is a machine designed to crush human psyches into delicious jam filling.

I don't really cry during those obvious sad moments in games/movies, but more during those parts when enemies work together for the greater good, especially when its in some epic manner

Manly tears.

Near the ending of Tales of Symphonia. Those who have played it probably know why. I got so close to crying, there were a few tears but that was it.

Also the book Firstborn. Those who have read it can probably assume why.

Okay, i love dogs.

when i was younger, i watched "Eight Below". Huskies are my favorite dogs, i seriously love them. I cried my eyes out when 2 of the 8 huskies died. I seriously cried until i had like permanent tear marks of my face.

Then even earlier before that, I watched "My Dog Skip"

oh man, i can't even explain the insane amount of liquid I probably lost through my eyes during that week or two.

Red Dead Redemption, Gears 2 (finding Dom's wife), a couple Dragon Age endings, and what happened to Ghost in MW2. I didn't actually cry at these, but my heart got wrenched around some.

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress by Heinlein made me bawl, though.

For some reason, I was absolutely bawling my eyes out to the end of Seven Pounds.

... Oh my god. I had forgotten ALL about that movie until I read that post. I think I cried harder at that than anything else in my life.

The very ending of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I wept manly tears of joy.

The goodguy ending of Bioshock made me tear up.

The ending of 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind'.

Cloud Smiles playing in the back ground the chidren jumping in the water around cloud after he cured denzel. Cloud looks around to see everyone cheering then sees a strange figure near the back of the church talking to the children. A girl in a pink dress. Cloud looks in amazement at the spectre from his past as she gracefully walks towards the exit. She Slowly turns her head as and says to him in the distance...

Aerith: You see? ...Everything is..Alright.

She walks out the door into the light with another figure from his past. Zack gives a friendly wave as they both walk fading to the light. Cloud mouth forms a slight smile. He looks around at all the people around him who care for him and thinks to himself.....

I cried at the end to the Iron Giant when he sacrificed himself to save the town that was trying to kill him. Then after the credits when he was coming back together it went from really sad to really happy it was awesome. Also the end to Red Dead Redemption was very emotional.
