The ending to Mother 3. I've never played the game, but even out of context it's still emotional.

SPOILER ALERTS
During the whole book of Star Wars: Invinciable, they have quotes from Jacen Solo. They're all jokes, but they're touching. Right at the end the final one is "What's the difference between a Jedi Knight, and A Jedi Master? Ask me in 20 years." And that's the chapter where he dies. It's very sad

The end of Cowboy Bebop.

The Firebird Suite from Fantasia 2000 (those are happy tears, though).

Night, by Elie Wiesel.

Some parts of Bokurano (which is just hideously depressing all around). Mostly the part with Daichi.

Several different Doctor Who episodes, both new and old.

A few different parts of Sandman (particularly Three Septembers and a January, and the end of the Game of You arc).

Yeah, I'm kind of a wuss. XD

Serenity (Firefly movie) - when they killed a main character out of nowhere. More of a shock but I was close to tears after the fact.

Near the ending of Tales of Symphonia. Those who have played it probably know why. I got so close to crying, there were a few tears but that was it.
Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about. imo That entire game was filled with sad moments, and most every character had some horrible baggage. That game was like the freakin' Breakfast Club, but with awesome combat mechanics.

Also, the music in Symphonia really knew how to play up the mood. Every time I listen to the OST and it reaches those 'sad tracks', I start to well up a little (I said a little, not a lot. Don't look at me like that).
