Uhh, I got sad at the dog part in I Am Legend, but no crying.... I guess my heart is made of stone.
That's a pretty song. I had to look it up, it's been a while since I've played FF IX. The only part I remember from the ending was the extended ending sequence (if you find the hammer).Lambi said:The ending to Final Fantasy IX, mainly because of the song Memories of Life. It's also because...well, you'll have to play the game 'till the end to find out why it makes you cry. You can't just look up the ending on youtube or somewhere else. You have to play the game through to the end to understand why the ending is to beautiful and sad.
That episode. Oh god...*tears up*dicai said:The part in The Simpsons from the episode where Bart steals the videogame...

I can't top those.
I was actually just recalling that scene on my way to work this morning. Strangely, it came to me when listening to the soundtrack to Star Trek TWO.Skiff_Manchester said:Star Trek III (nerd aler and spoiler warning) when they destroy the Enterprise and watch it crash into the Genesis planet. I always get a little teary as Kirk, McCoy, and Scotty all watch the ship burn up in the atmosphere and then...
Kirk: My god Bones, what have I done.
McCoy: What you had to do. What you've always done. Turn death into a fighting chance to live.
You sir, are a monster... Making me cry like that. Even with zero knowledge of the series that is a sad sad scene. I tip my hat to you and bid you a good day.Thaius said:I'm sure someone's already mentioned Clannad. Holy. Crap. I mean, holy crap. The lat half of the second (final) season of that anime was freaking... wow. Both sad and happy tears blurred my vision the entire freaking time. Especially this scene.
But I cannot stress enough how much this scene will ruin if you have not seen the anime. Or, however less likely it is, played the visual novel on which it was based. I cannot recommend highly enough that you watch the anime, from beginning to end, and if you haven't yet, don't watch this video. This scene still makes me cry...
Heck, you think it's sad like that, watch the show. That show killed me emotionally. It's unspeakably good, and must be seen, but it's so sad. Go forth and watch it. And enjoy.Dommius said:You sir, are a monster... Making me cry like that. Even with zero knowledge of the series that is a sad sad scene. Now, I think I have a corner to go cry in.
You just gained so many awesome points in my eyes.Happy Sock Puppet said:The very ending of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I wept manly tears of joy.
That movie was so powerfull. The place they lived..so bleak. It seemed like a harsh harsh existance. No warmth or friendliness in that boys life. The only wamrth came from someone cold and dead.FargoDog said:Let the Right One In made me cry twice in one sitting.
