Going to juvi for the equivalent of passing a note in gym class on a larger scale.
I love when people take things and blow it out of proportion. If GirlA is known as "little miss ez" she probably has done some "things" to earn that nickname. All he's doing is making it public knowledge (if it wasn't already) to stew up drama. That's what high school was all about, and why I'm glad I stayed away from that shit.

To people saying he didn't break the law, I think this could count as libel (written slander) since he supposedly posted things about their sexual habits that (presumably) weren't true
To prove libel the prosecutor would have to prove the kid knew it wasn't true, and did it intentionally to harm the girls' reputations. Also, he's been charged with disorderly conduct, not libel. I'm not entirely sure they have enough to make the charges stick, though.

The whole thing is a crock of shite. Expulsion from school should have been sufficient. If the girls' parents wanted more action, they should have to sue in civil court for defamation (or similar), not waste tax-payer money on this.

Going to juvi for calling people names on facebook, when did peoples spines dissolve.
Around 2002.

Maybe a little sooner.

I know I watched school change from survival of the fittest to "I swear to god we will suspend you if you so much as laugh at someone wrong."

Wow, that's hilarious. In a "I can't believe someone would actually do something like that. If there's a douchebag hall of fame, this guy should be near the top" sense.
Seriously, if this guy didn't seem so serious about it, I would think he was just being a
real-life troll.

Expelled? Good. Arrested? I guess. Going to Juvenal hall? okay. Get more punishment? For what!? To my knowledge he treated every single woman as a piece of property and he should be disciplined for it. But I do not notice him singling out individuals like bullies do. So if this guy gets even more punishment for what he does, than bullies of both mental and physical distress should suffer fines and imprisonment.
Well said.

This pretty much demonstrates why Feminism is still strongly needed in Western society. Treating young girls like grades of meat and rating them on their sexual characteristics like it was the only thing they would ever be worth is so grotesquely abhorrent.

It definitely warrants legal action. This idiot caused a great deal of grievous mental and emotional anguish on so many of these girls publicly. That kind of behavior can not be condoned by any authority that hopes to remain credible.
Are you the girls' lawyer?

Ahhh the internet, where everyone is an expert both on the law, incapable of reading beyond headlines.

First off, I don't understand why the title claims that he was arrested for making a hot or not list on facebook, and then add in the fact that he passed out hundreds of copies of the list almost as an after thought.

Secondly, going to court is not the same thing as being thrown into jail.

isn't this all a bit much for a stupid high school stunt?

A "stupid high school stunt"? Are you serious? Falling on your ass because you tried to ride a bike down some stairs qualifies as a "stupid high school stunt".

This was a calculated attack on adolescent females in a disgusting manner that showed no regard for their well-being or reputation. This was exploitation of minors, sexist, misogynist bullying and defamation. This kid got off way too lightly.
In other words: "He was a meanie poop-head."

Seriously, pal lady, grow a spine. This is not worthy of legal action. The kid is an asshole. If being an asshole is an offense worthy of incarceration, then about 35% of my peers would be locked up.

Expulsion, from what I understand, was appropriate. Criminal charges are not. The very fact that charges are being pressed demonstrates how pathetic modern people are. If what someone says offends you, you should confront them. Instead, someone's being a little ***** and pressing charges against a high schooler.

Let me reiterate: An adult, who is fully capable of dealing with this problem him/herself, is seeking legal action against a high schooler. That's ridiculous.

Either that, or just a troll. Since the latter is far more common, I went with that and just clicked "report"

You must of had a hella' good life if you consider this bad and haven't came to accept that humans act like this or given up on humanity.

Well it's offensive libel. He deserves a sentence, though for such a minor thing I wouldn't want him to see imprisonment, probably a fine and a but-load of community service.
It's not libel if it's true. While someone can't put a 1-10 score on a woman's characteristics that everyone agrees with, that also means it can't be true or false. The only way it could be libel is if he said they committed sexual acts which they didn't, and I'm guessing they all did.
Which is exactly why it's a problem, you're assuming they did something just because he printed.

He needs to be able to prove it's true or it's libel and a crime.
That would be hilarious

Cop: So... Steve, did Windy do the 69 with you?"
Steve: Well... uhh...
Cop: We have ways of making you talk Steve
Steve: Y-Yes!
Cop: I knew it.
