If it's a small school, the fact that lots of girls were insulted will back each other up. In fact, most of the girls, regardless if they were targeted or not would probably view the kid as a chauvinistic pig, and rightly so. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the guys were against him too. This is a thing that would have blown over in a few months if not for the overblown reaction by the school and the police department.

If it's a large school, then it will barely concern well over half the student body.

uh once again like many have said, it happens EVERY DAY, its just he was an organized more vocal asshat about it than the average person. if he seriously is getting in trouble with the law over this, then it really shows how messed up our judicial system is and how bored our tax money really is getting a kid for something like this but then letting drug dealers and REAL criminals roam free and get away with things every day, and if you get that offended by racist remarks about your "race", then you shouldn't be anywhere near humans or the internet.period.

I don't know how the US law works, but what crime exactly did he commit? I agree that it can be regarded as slander, but this offence is under the jurisdiction of the civil court when a victim sues the offender in my coutry. Arresting him makes no fucking sense to me.
