As sad as it is, I can't say I'm surprised. Between this type of stupidity, the Westboro Church, the Quran burning idiots, the swearing police in Australia, the over-the-top political correctness of this day and age etc etc, I can confidently say that I am not shocked.

Y'know, I figured if you'd be so stupid as to sell your kidney for tech money, you'd get something that was actually worth a shit.

Enjoy your health problems, Zheng. I hope Angry Birds HD was worth it.

What? He's 17?

Damn, kid, why? Just why?
Can you not think about what will happen later down the line with this? At ALL?

Crazy. It'll be obsolete in ten years anyway... No organ of mine is ever going to be traded in for a gadget.

That. Is. Insane.

Makes you wonder how many people they paid off to be able to rent those rooms and equipment.

He's 17. Case closed.
I make a point not to judge people, but by the age of 17 a child should know that you don't think like this.

By the time I, and everyone I know, was 17 I already knew:

1. Don't drink excessively.
2. Don't do drugs.
3. Be warry of strangers.
4. Respect your body.
5. Watch both ways before crossing lanes.

Now you can't expect someone by the age of 17 to not know this, he is a year away from being 18, at that point, he should know better than this.

*Plants his hands firmly over his face, sighing* My goodness, that's the most 'interesting' thing I've heard yet today.

I know im a horrible person... I read this and laughed... Something about selling a vital organ for a Apple product just seems... pathetic...

When I was 17, I knew not to sell my kidneys to strangers on the internet but these rules eluded me. Still not sold on the first two.

I feel sorry for the parents.

Not to be jerk, but that kid clearly has problems with decision making, risk reward analysis, and probably isn't playing with a full deck.

Steak and- uh... Pie, dear. Just pie.

OT: I feel sorry for the kid, sure. But still, hooray for Natural Selection!

Soo...is he going to sell the other one when the iPad 3 comes out? Or is he running low on organs? I mean he obviously sold off parts of his brain, otherwise he had known that he could have gotten at least $15,000 for a healthy kidney. And where the hell did he come across a place that seemed reputable in the whole organs for money business? Or why didn't he just buy the inevitably chinese knock-off to the iPad thing?

On second thought, we probably shouldn't judge him. Let's just sit back, and let natural selection do its job...
