One of the things that I hate about the UK is chavs and 'wiggas'. It makes me embarrassed to be English/British some times. Grr... these kind of people should be sterilised at birth to stop them breeding and making 10 others of themselves.

Anywho... as for him, he's a scumbag who should have his testicles removed because he can't be trusted with them. The judge suggested it was possible that their was a link with GTA, but I feel he was saying that in no way or form did it excuse him.

You underestimate their breeding capabilities. Do you remember Yahtzee's review where he referenced all the babies the "lower class were spurting out by the truckload"? Chavs are the same. I was wandering through town recently, stood at the tram stop I was waiting at was a chavette, adorned in her customary barbie pink tracksuit. She had one child in a pram, possibly a few months to a year old (I'm not an expert on baby sizes so apologies), and what looked to be another baby knocking about in her womb that had been in there for about 7-8 months. This particular chavette had the features of a roughly 15 year old. She was also stood with two (or more, can't remember) other chavettes who appeared to be in similar situations.

If she can have two kids by the time she's 16, imagine how many she can have by the time she reachers 30? Even if 75% of them die off, that's still more than enough to continue that chavette's blighted legacy.

100GB of porn... what the hell! Keeping porn is one thing that I've never understood, the Internet is so vast that anything that you want to see you can easily see withing 5 minutes. My friends, when using my laptop, often ask me 'ah so where is your secret porn folder', to which I reply that I do not have one. The call bullshit but I honestly don't have one.

I never got why you would save it either. You can find anything you want on the internet.

Sometimes your internet goes down and you need to waste some time. At that time, a porn collection came in handy.

Okay, just to give an example...

Guy is charged for taking a chainsaw through town, and cutting 20 people in half.
When asked why he did it he says "well, I was watching Texas Chainsaw Massacare about 20 minutes before I grabbed my chainsaw and cut those bloody trees down! But yea, Watching that movie totally wasn't why I did it!"

See, what happened?
He effectively 'created' a scapegoat, without actually 'accusing' said scapegoat for his actions.
AKA, he makes you (the judge in this case), to completely forget the last part of what he said, because he scapegoated the 'movie' right off the bat.

Oh, and even if someone got an idea from a game/movie, thinking 'hey you know what? Thats not half bad idea!', its not the game/movies fault.
People do fucked up shit all the damned time. Games/Movies can NOT force you to do anything you wouldn't have already done, they may, quite possibly give you ideas, but they aren't saying 'act' upon those ideas.

Hell if Games ever get 'prosicuted' for 'cuasing people to do stupid shit', then I say JackASS movies should have been hit up by even stronger law suits...
Hell even 'wrestling, WWF style' would have to get hit... And uhh yea, all them rednecks out there would probably riot if they ever banned that stuff.

He didn't create a scape goat, he said he was playing the game at the time of the assaults not that GTA caused/ inspired them.

It was the judge that noted that the way he committed the offences and the way things are done in GTA had similarities.
