Tenacious D

For those who don't know, Tenacious D is a two-man band consisting of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. They first created a show on HBO, and then their own movie, Tenacious D: Pick Of Destiny. Here's a few vids to give you a taste of their work.

The only discussion I can think of is the one with Gass and Black on when the hell they're going to make a new album or series. Jack Black playing Jack Black in movies and games isn't cutting it, I want to hear Kyle play some tasty licks while Jack sings without having to pull out the complete masterworks dvds.

I'm a bigger fan of Flight of the Concords.

Honestly, their not that great in my opinon. I've don't really think they portray Metal properly, but I don't think they fall so bad as being complete shit.

Yeah I don't either. It's just centred around Jack Black and his ego. It's ok for a band to have personality, but Jack Black just thinks he's the incarnation of cool.

Oh, you mean that one band? The one that's all about METAL? Yeah, they're pretty cool. Tribute (the HBO version) is one of the funniest things I've ever watched. And their first album was definitely awesome. I haven't ever seen the movie, though I have been known to listen to one or two of the songs from that album.

Side note: I've been told that I look like Jack Black with glasses and brown hair, interestingly enough.
