Terrible game characters

Everyone in Devil May Cry 4 outside of the returning characters (Dante, Trish, Lady).
Sheva Alomar from Resident Evil 5 (shoehorned co-op character, not interesting storywise either)
Starkiller/Galen Marek from The Force Unleashed. He's so powerful, yet has to level up his abilities and still loses to Palpatine. habullshit.
Elika from Prince of Persia. Pointless whorebiscuit.
Alexei and Duke from Tales of Vesperia. Alexei is voiced by Wesker, and Duke is a Sephiroth clone. I figured they were the villains the moment they were introduced. Not to mention, shitty motivation.

And probably more...but I can't think of any.

I can't describe how much i agree with you. I was just there listening to him going on about his sister being in trouble of some shit whilst I throw cars at pedestrians for no reason. I've never seen such an all around douchebag.

In a way i'm glad I met such a terrible character, it made me realise how much liking or disliking a character can effect the game and that I care about the story in games more than I thought . I traded that game after only about 2 hours playing and hating it.

But that's alright, you can go on complaining about your daddy issues. He had unrealistically high expectations for you and you felt smothered by his presence? I'm sure no girl has ever felt like that before. For real... nice ass though.

I don't think I've ever so quickly gravitated towards letting a character just DIE. I was thrilled to let her fall off a building.

If this had been real life (har har), then it wouldn't even have been a question? Six strangers or my wife? Um, I'm saving my wife, duh. A thousand strangers or my wife? Still, my wife.

But it could have been Trish vs. a bloated corpse and I'd have chosen the bloated corpse.

These are the unlikeable, unlovable, extraordinarily terrible characters that you just can't even accept as an acquaintance.

My personal pick goes for Morrigan from Dragon Age:Origins. She was a terrible character... her hate for everything just came off as bitchy instead of sarcastic. To top it off she wasn't even hot, you'd think they would've gotten that part right at least.

To be honest as soon as Wynn joined the group I only used Morrigan for the fade section due to her offensive spell casting, other than that she spent most of her time at camp while I went off to finish one of the endings.

Same here. My first playthrough was with a mage, and who needs 2 mages when you can have a premade healer?

I nominate the entire cast of Mana Khemia 2: The Fall of Alchemy.

The first Mana Khemia was really fun, and had a great cast (with one exception). The second game was just extraordinarily terrible, with its cast not nearly the least of its many problems.
