The old lady you have to get the violin for in FO3.
Also, "Dad" in the same game. Such a condescending prick.
:O Liam Neeson won't be happy.

OT: The wingman from Ace Combat 6.

*Cover me*
"will do"
*i get blown up more as he just crashed into a tree*
"Talisman is down!"

no shit sherlock
I agree the wingman in AC6 (Shamrock was his callsign by the way) was annoying however the rest of the game was epic, expecaly the last mission.

Hmm I didn't really mind Morrigan, I didn't find her bitchiness annoying, but rather largely entertaining.

Starkiller from Force Unleashed though is pretty damn terrible. I really can't like him for killing Shaak Ti. I loved me some Shaak Ti, but he just had to kill her.

Let's start with Squall, from FFVIII. I don't know why they thought a detached, ineffective douche would make a good main character. Especially since he never really learns a lesson.
Hey, my avatar mocks you!

I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me.

Anywho, back on topic.

The Arbiter annoyed me quite a bit.

Wrex in ME1 was far too dull for me to like.

And Marcus Fenix. Man that guy rubbed me the wrong way.

The one that pissed me off was Tali during her loyalty mission when you talk about the home world. Not because she was complaining, but because she complains no matter what you say to her. She shoots down any suggestion you make. It felt like complaining for the sake of complaining. Pretty much the only thing she didn't have a problem with in that conversation was the idea of killing more Geth.
While I was initially pissed off at her because of this, a few things occurred to me:
1) She's being accused of treason.
2) Her father might be dead.
3) Her father may be involved with some truly horrible experiments.
4) Accepting peace with a species that drove you off your homeworld is enough to make anyone feel resentment.

All in all, I think she had enough justification to complain about the current situation. While it would have been nice to be able to calm her down, I understand why she acted that way; that's a lot of shit to handle at one time.

OT:
1) Issac from Dead Space. There is nothing to like about him. Hell, I like Gordon Freeman more than this guy.
2) Miranda Keyes from Halo 2 & 3: It wasn't her character that annoyed me, it was the PATHETIC acting from her voice actor. ".........to war" *SMACK*
3) Anybody from Doom 3: Really, what needs to be said here?

I'll think of more later.

In any case, my answer is the same as always: Kyoka Nanjou from <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.135672-Neutral-Drow-reviews-A-Drug-That-Makes-You-Dream>A Drug That Makes You Dream. Describing why without referring to spoilers or screamed obscenities would be near-impossible.
Quote for truth, I reeeaeaaally was glad when you finally do what you do to her on the rooftop scene at the end of Aeka's route, she really made me angry.

Also -

Rush Sykes from The Last Remnant, he is possibly one of the most annoying main characters in a game ever, everything that he says wants me to punch nearby objects or people, his personality, voice, and overall character in general is just horrible and unlikeable.

Any character built up with the characteristic of being chalk full of angst.

I mean what is this the 90s?

Trish from infamous, Alex Mercer, and That Ashley girl from RE4
Holy shit, almost all the ones I was about to say.

Also, Farah from PoP: Sands of Time. While she's definitely not the worst of video game heroines, I don't know what possessed the developers to let her deliver friendly fire, especially since she barely hits any actual enemies in the first place. Plus I always end up having to save her ass, because she doesn't have the good sense to run away when attacked.

Human characters in Halo minus Chief, Johnson, and the ODST Squad.
The lack of character makes me cry.
The Covenant are much better.
Elites, Brutes, and Grunts are so well personified.

I can understand her being upset throughout the mission. It's just that at that one specific part no matter what you say she will complain about it. It's pretty damn irritating.

Bleh, I agree. She never really gave a convicing performance. It's not like her voice actor was hilariously bad either. She was just dull, which makes her a completley forgettable character.

I just remembered one of the few characters I really hated from Mass Effect 2; Aresth. He's the guy that randomly pops up at the end of Jack's loyalty mission. The one that basically says "lol I'm gonna restart this horrible place for no reason". His presence felt arbitrary and I thought his voice acting we very poor. Normally I object to the idea of my squadmates killing others when it's unnecessary, but I felt nothing for this guy.

Mirana Lawson. Mass Effect 2.

Fucking arrogant, snotty *****, glad she got herself killed, I feel much more at peace with the game after watching her die horribly.

Linebeck from Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, to any of you who played the game, fairly obvious. For those who haven't essentially the man plays "tough guy" in public, as soon as trouble's afoot he runs for cover. He also has this hilarious habit of stealing your accomplishments and claiming them for his own.

The entire cast of FF8, good god words cannot express how much I hate those characters and their immense stupidity.

Kaiden, you are a red shirt now and forever.

Gordon Freeman, you are not a good character!! stop fooling people into thinking you are!!

aerith from FF7, most useless character ever. Actually now that I think about it, in any rpg there are only like 3 or 4 main cool/interesting characters, the others and they all seem to have like 8 or more of then are filler characters. There is no use for them.

Just finished ME2, so that's the only game I'm thinking about right now. The dlc character was crap, but that's to be expected, and I was disappointed at how dull the two characters you start out with were. Same as ME1, too, so I feel as if they will be unimportant in the next game, so I don't give two shit about them.

Squall from FFVIII.
For god's sake, man! Would it KILL you to show even a little emotion!?
Sometimes I wonder what the perky Riona sees in this guy...
