solve the word puzzle. if you open the box, what is the cat? (read the wiki article for the puzzle solution if you aren't familiar with it)
3) I have no idea ( this isn't I hint, I can't solve it (yet))
use an "American Standard" for the alphabet and binary

Okay so I don't think I even understand the instructions for 2-3.

The words are mixed up but the letter within each word are still correct?
would be "Rings of Lord the", ergo "The Lord of the rings"? Is that the same logic they want me to apply to this puzzle?
Question 3
ok I will say this one more time when reading the hint think outside the box. all of these are fairly recent games try checking out the reviews for these questions

Any hints on 2-1?

...and what the hell does Schrodinger's Cat have to do with anything?
this should clear things up
without opening the box the cat can be considered....

The puzzle's are getting to have multiple steps. Its not Schrodinger's cat itself but a property that the cat has.

Damn, 4 had lots of steps. The last leap was a tricky one. For people who are counting I find you had to do 3 conversions to get a meaningful clue, and then two "reinterpretations" of the clue to get to the answer.

Got everything but number 2. Any suggestions?
A nomadic tribe is such named for their propensities to move around and never stay in one place.
Much like 1.5 and a much anticipated sequel on it's way...

this is an almost useless hint but it might help
the pianist is Schroeder and this is all relevant for a question because of a certain tv show

Alright, I shall help you out again my friend (probably made this little to easy but oh well):

#1 - The cat is intoxicated and resting...what comes to your mind when seeing it?

for no.1:
1: you'll need the character's name
2+3: close, but -er +ing!
4: indeed he is doing just what you said -ing.
5: the 4th word you suggest is the one to focus on.
6: stick with your 1st suggestion.

1. You are looking for the character's name- schroeder
4. You are correct..
5. Pay attention to the sign before the picture and then you should get what you are taking away from number 4
6. Cat.

This entire thing spells out the name of an experiment.. but is not really the answer.. why would you look at the cat

I think i should probably stop before i start giving them away D:
Thanks guys, now I know the name of the experiment it's referring to...

No idea what bloody game it represents though.

EDIT: Got it!

Ah... my brain suddenly feels a lot better.

What about you music knowledge? Listen, why don't you take a break and consult things with the Man In The Mirror. I'm sure you'll have a Thriller of a time once you realize what it is. By the way when do the Black Or White pokemon games come out?

;)
I tried putting his name in. No dice.

And I have no idea how he'd relate to a game... none that I've played anyway.

#3 - There are no zombies involved... this guy was dead once and is a "Smooth Criminal" addressed by ajluczak
I'm still really fucking confused... thanks though.

A game of his was recently reviewed by Greg Tito. Check it out! Be sure to put the whole name though ;)

In the experiment, the cat is either...

Thanks, all of you, I was so confused with both day 1 and 2 (managed 2/5 day 1, 1/4 day 2 by myself).

I got the right game for #3, but I don't know how to put it in. I've tried it with and without colons or taking out the subtitle, and spelling the first word differently, but none of it works. Help?

3, I've got 'Draw Idol'? 'Aid World'? Never heard of any of the games an anagram site definitely didn't give me because I didn't use one. Honest.

5, haven't the foggiest.
A certain Russian inventor might disagree with your lettering there.
