y'know, i'm glad all of you have figured out #4 needs to be converted to binary and have deciphered it, but i still havent figured out HOW to do that opening step! if i do it row wise, i get 11111 11111 11111 etc for the first row then 01111 01111 etc for the second row. if i do it by column 10110000 10101011 etc for the first column and so on. can anyone help me past the very first step?

Wow. I want to kick 2-3 in the nuts. That was one dirty puzzle hint. And puzzle.
I didn't even decrypt 2-4, one of the hints in here was so glaringly obvious I didn't need to.

Survived yet another day of these torture mechanics they call puzzles. Yay :D

Ok I managed to knock out day 2's 1 2 and 4. I loved 4, those multi-step puzzles are amazing and make me think of all some of the really good ARGs you see.

Just like yesterday I still seem to have so much trouble with the damnable scrambled word puzzles. My brain doesn't like un-jumbling letters it seems.

Thanks for the hints for 2-1, I wouldn't have got it otherwise. As for 2-4, lucky I was looking through my astronomy work, wouldn't have got it otherwise.

As for 2-2 and 2-3
2-2 I keep saying both the clue and the ...other bit fast, 5 time. And nuthin'
2-3 Yeah, I'm just no good that these things, even with all the hints.

Now now. Never fear. Y'see it all comes down to Shrodinger. The cat is either one OR the other.
Damn it; I was too confused by the fact that there's actually a game called
Quantum Theory
to think of that. Thanks.
ARGH this helped me get it and I facepalmed XD

Not to really ruin all the determination for others who are working so hard to figure out #4, but here is the biggest hint yet! (Got it from a really good friend, so i'll tell it my way)
Day 2 #4 If you figured out that it's digits showing 1.523a.u it actually means 1.523000 which is distance. It's so massive, it reaches out from Earth to Mars. Now, knowing Greek Mythology, what does Mars represent? That shall be your answer, and this hint is a big give away

Sorry if I offended anyone by posting this, but we are all a team and I feel people deserve to not overstress about this Quiz, that we can overcome it! I personally thank ajluczak and Glamorgan for helping me pass Days 2 with useful Hints!
Jesus christ I'd rather fight the answer than solve that x_x

2-2 AUGH another face-palm worthy answer lol. Try saying the whole thing fast 5 times. Think of a source of heat too...

As for number 3.. I swear i am entering in the right game.. but it isn't working.. all the letters fit and i can see how the zombies would fit in ... Is there another trick to it?
The focus is more on the name of the person, which you've figured out. Keep in mind that the game title uses all the letters you've been given. His name is in the game title.
Oooh...low blow Escapist xD

Wow, I finally got #3. I don't know if thats playing fair, escapist. That clue probably qualifies as a red herring and I wasn't really thinking of that as a game even though I know it has been mentioned in the news here a couple times.

I only figured it out because I figured out what the last word was, assumed the second to last word(though I figured it would be the first word) and was looking at game titles with those two words in them.

Well played, escapist. Well played.

Well that's day two taken care of. I wouldn't have gotten a single one of these if it wasn't for the clues from the other members. It's a pretty cool community event.

Oh, and I retract my cockiness from yesterday ^_^
