Almalexia! It might have been that I had used most of my health potions fighting through the whole dungeon because I would hit her once and she would take out 90% of my health. Then I had to run around the room until it regenerated (Thank you so much, auto-win ring that I stole from Helseth xD) So I guess it wasn't hard, it just took forever.

That was pretty easy, for me - I instantly realised I'd been stockpiling Fortify Strength Potions from all those Hulking Fabricants >

She died fast

I should have done that! I was trying to hoard those for that wood elf in the ebony armor that attacks you for no reason. Actually, I want to change my answer to him. I have only killed him once in all of my playthroughs

I beat Gaenor first try - I guess I must've just had a really, really good character

Maybe I'm just bad at Morrowind and my ego hasn't let me admit it xD In fact, it's probably both!

Batman Arkham Asylum, The Bane-Joker. Playing on PC, and suddenly the camera is frozen in one spot way off in the distance meaning none of the direction keys retain the same function that they have had for the whole game up to that point. I put the game down and haven't picked it up since.

The final boss in Heavenly Sword. It's been about 2 years since then, and I've long forgotten his name, but God damn, I sure haven't forgotten the rage and frustration of that fucking three-stage battle!

Agreed. And the motherfucking blocked his attack color with his stupid shadows, so I couldn't tell what to block with!

Watched the ending on youtube, fuck that shit.

End boss in Beyond Good and Evil. Almost didn't finish the game.

That took me AGES. The reversed controls were bad, but the real killer was that I thought he had loads of health when it was actually just a case of getting enough hits in without being countered.

The one that came instantly to mind was the Boost ball guardian in Metroid Prime 2. I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to kill that bastard over the years. Never got past it.

Seriously, I've never even come close to beating Sephiroth in the first one. He wrecks my shit every time I try.

Tiamat from FFII, fuck that thing, Elder Wyrm was nothing compared to that fight.
Evrae from FFX, again didnt find any of the Seymour fights 'that' hard (4th was just a pushover).
Blood Mage Boss in DA:O on nightmare, went there ridiculously early in the game and the blood mages just kept 2 shotting me, fuck that place.

Christ what a ballache - all the worse that a part of my head KNOWS that there is a way to kill him with one shot of the catapult.
He is the main reason I didn't go back and replay it more than once, and he only reason I didn't try for the top score playthrough.

Ninja'd. I've emptied 5 grenades into his chest, 4 explosive arrows, 20% of my dual wield pistols, and cargo catapult'd him 3 times and he still rapes me! It wouldn't be so bad if claire could run faster than a constipated sloth. I still haven't beaten him and it makes me wonder if it's worth restarting everything.

In all seriousness, trying to beat Dr. Nefarious in challenge mode in Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal was ridiculous.
So you're saying that ALL of the ammo for the most powerful weapon in the game has brought him down to half health?

Somebody already said it but, it would be Ares from GoW1 I ha no problem with most of the fight but the final button mashing thing took me upwards of an hour.
