Kingsleys Adventure. BAsically theres 4 levels. You beat the boss on each level, and then you can either go to the next level or fight the levels second boss (all of which are knights that have been brainwashed). I had finsihed all the bosses except the second one on level 4, which is what I needed to fight the end boss. Never even reached the guy. I had to do some button-pressing while being chased by giant bees. Damn that game.

Also, Tomb Raider. I was headed off againt one guy and two lions.

I could never beat System Shock 2. Not because it was too hard, it just freaked me out too much.

LEGO Rock Raiders. I could never get past the last level. That game caused as much rage as all the other games I've ever played combined.

Mostly due to the horrendous AI.

Bionicle for the GBA. Seriously, don't play it if you want to beat it.

The first Spyro. The last boss was just far too tough for my teeny kiddy gaming skills.
Then I lent it to a friend and she broke the disc. So I never finished it...

F-Zero GX. to this day, i know i do not have the capabilities of beating that game.
i love that game, i'm currently on the "master" prix. 1 extra life is hard, BUT I WILL DO IT!

you know looking at all these comments, i feel really old. Because people are naming games from PS2/xbox/gamecube, and make me think that either i've been playing for to long, or these chillun's are just really young.

Oh and the game i couldn't beat was X-Men for the Sega Genesis
yet some little shit can beat it in 8 minutes 40 seconds

OMG this , not only did you have to memorize every bit of the level boss fights were rock, paper, scissor. Not to mention that 1 hit from an enemy or wrong box you opened meant 1 life less

Game I could never beat was Battle Toads on Gameboy Classic.
But the one that sticks out more than that was PLOK, man that game was punishing after you got about 2/3 of the way through, even on Easy.

Off topic, I beat all games these days, maybe cuz Im not a kid anymore, maybe cuz games are easier. The only recent game I cant beat is Demon Souls, that game is a true MOTHER F***ER

Commander Keen 4.

It was my favourite game when I was a kid, but it was hard, indeed. I should beat that some day.

Diddy Kong Racing. I've had it for about 11 years now, and I still haven't beaten it. I am currently going back and beating it as I speak, but I've yet to do so. Nor did I ever beat Kirby: The Crystal Shards.

Come to think of it, there's not many games that I HAVE beaten. If you take out the ones that I beat with a guide or cheats, then I've only beaten Viewtiful Joe 2, Tony Hawk's Underground 1, 2, and Wasteland, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Mario Galaxy, each Smash Bros, and Metroid Fusion. As a gamer for 11 years, this is a staggeringly low completion rate.

Devil May Cry 3 DMD Mode. All bosses tuned to super-cheapness mode and so little health (relatively speaking)

Shogun Total War, not only was it my first strategy game but the concept of leading more then one little dude was mind-numbingly awesome.

Side note: I beat it last night in an epic 8 hour session.

Tonic Trouble for the N64. Last I remember doing with that was swimming in some giant ice bowl or something.

God I loved that game.
