If that is an actual screenshot, the graphics and fact that Square Enix made a game with a gun interest me more than boobies do...

In related news, when she tears off her clothing, that low sultry moan she makes is a sad moan, intended to be a comment on the futility of war. If you think it's a sexy moan then you're just not very into the spirit of the thing, are you?
Damm I can't think of anything else

Hahaha. Awkward eroticism in Square games? Never!

It's kinda clever to highlight it like this. The strategic female clothes 'disappearance' quite an anime thing to do, anyone remember Soul Calibur 4?
Fuck that, anyone remember BATTLE VIXENS? God that show fucking sucked and it had fan service every single second.

Then you should really watch more porn. Otherwise you're not going to look very intellectual.

Here's another: when her comrade shows up equally torn and bloodied, they decide to bathe together in a nearby lake. This is to symbolise the way war brings strangers together and makes them intimate friends, and also a way to show the gaming press how co-op functionality will play a major role in the game.

The drool you see on my lip is the drool of integrity.

Sure, It's not intended.
Women also don't realise when you can see their nipples through a shirt. Honestly.

I'm sure the shower scene from one of the earlier games was just to show "the parasite eve universe takes hygiene seriously" too.

I'm actually going to believe him. Kind of.

Games need to give feedback. Some sort of indication of your actions having an effect on the game world. When you're dealing with grabby monsters, rips in the clothing are a very visual reminder of just how close you were to death. It's a good idea. However, there's no way that they realized that this would be a good addition to the game, and yet didn't realize the opportunity for a little fan service. If you could put in clothing damage with only concern for adding a sense of realism (Not actual realism, but a sense of it), without throwing in a little fanservice, then I envy you state of zen-like oneness with the universe, denying all concerns of the flesh for a higher realm of game design existence.

My bet is that they went, "Clothing damage would add a sense of pacing and feedback. Hey wait a second, that means we get to show more of Ayas naughty bits. Bonus!"

We made our character extremely sexy and use the game mechanics to get her naked all the time, but it doesn't have anything to do with sex, that was never our goal, its just for the realism.

Why lie when the truth will do, it is an advertisement. Don't treat us like we are stupid.

Sure they're trying to be realistic in how the character gets injured and have the parts of clothing removed because of these injuries. Though realistically guys will find it erotic because in reality we find a lot of things erotic even if they really aren't

So conflicted. Clearly a PR ploy to get defensive over nothing and that kind of behaviour usually means they're trying to get attention to a game they don't expect will do very well. On the other hand, it's a new Parasite Eve. I am both worried and slightly saddened while about to jump through the ceiling with joy at the announcement that there will be a worldwide release since Europe tends to get screwed in these things. No Persona 3 Portable :(...

Shit.

I don't know a thing about this game, but the picture probably sums up the issue here.

Really...sure it wasn't deliberate :p
