Seeing as how we're all submitted, would anyone care to share the premise of their video?

Mine is a sketch comedy with three 1.5 minute sketches. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it :D
I'm not going to reveal any plot elements, but the concept behind my potential series is that at the end of every episode viewers will be left with a decision to make (which you guys can then fight and argue about in the forums). A majority vote will determine the events of the following episode. So basically, its a communal choose your own adventure series.

I only submitted a trailer for the comp as I didn't feel it would be the appropriate place to start presenting the choices.
I had a similar idea, though it didn't make my pilot. I think interactivity would be a really cool concept to explore.

The way I see it, you can either a) write the plot each week based on the communal decision, or b) plan out the entire decision tree in advance. Option a) essentially is high risk/high pay-off, leaving option b) more likely to be less risk/less pay-off.

Have you looked at any of Andrew Hussie's stuff (Homestuck, Problem Sleuth)?

Bit of column A, bit of column B. I have the various over-arching narratives planned out and know where I want the major decisions to occur along each possible plot thread, however a lot of the particulars will be written into the episodes based on the responses on the forums.

Hah, I actually have a couple of forum adventures myself, and I was thinking of doing a silly video adventure along those lines on youtube!
Heck, unless I win the contract I may still do it. Basically I'm viewing this as "the start of filming," Escapist or not!

...But I'd rather continue the idea I submitted to this; I think it has great potential as a series. You'll have to see for yourself, though. :p

Off to bed for me. I'm hopeful that the gallery will be available tomorrow at some point.

It's like going to bed on Christmas Eve all over again. Haha. Can't wait!

Taking on bets on whether you think the gallery will be posted today at 9am-ish, 12pm-ish, or 5pm-ish

I am hoping for 12pm-ish (or earlier). Otherwise, I'll have to sweat out another evening at work. Yesterday evening seemed to creep by at a snail's pace.

When I refreshed the front page and the headline for Issue #278 came up, I thought it was the video galley!

Lol I was just joking! I didn't really think they had spread that far yet, but they are every 15 to 25 miles apart here! We say here that one day they will take over the world! I lived for awhile in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and they didn't have Wal-Mart yet, but they did have a Sam's Club which is almost the same thing.
