egh, I'll bite.... this is an older one, but I've been pretty tied down on the 2039 Hani series, and neglecting art for the hell of it

Okay, so with the Pictures thread running off the hook, I've decided to put up one for shameless egoism.

Feel free to post links or images of your artwork here. Literary works are also welcome.
(Note: for large images or stories put them in spoiler format please.)

So here are a few of mine:

Your work is alright. You have potential, you can outline and shade, which is some basic art. You also seem to understand directions, which is why most people cant 'draw'. Shading is one of the easiest aspects of art, dramatic lighitng works everytime. You do good human bodies but your heads, faces, and features are horrible. You ignore them competely and focus on the bodys detail, which is really only shading and outlining. If your good at pencil, try color pencil. You cant keep the same frame of mind when using color pencil vs pencil. Art is like anyting else, you need to pratice pratice pratice and alwasy try new things.

Thanks for the critique. Those sketches were done quite a while ago, my faces have improved since then. I can show you if you'd like.

I can kind of draw mecha. I'm not sure how good they are, as I just preferred to draw cool shit rather than worry about realism or excess marks or proportions and things like that. Here they are. I apologize for any loss in quality; they're the BMPs I upload to websites as opposed to my personal archive scans, which are TIFF files. All work in pen; I draw messy and damn the extra lines.

Does anyone know if EXIF data can come from a scanner?

Lead dragging across the surface
Lines forming shapes into dreams
Images of anything from nothing
Imagination holding no boundaries

The beauty of your mind reaching out
Seeking to purge itself into mine
Showcasing everyone's hidden talents
Pieces of your soul I will soon find

Wether it is writing or it is drawing
Wether it is happiness or it is sad
I know I will love each and every one
For there is truly no such thing as bad

So continue on with your fine sculpting
For all of us dreamers to eagerly see
Your lead scratching up your empty pages
Proving there is still an artist in thee

I've been working on vector drawing and this is the latest thing I've made (my avatar is another thing I made a while back). A cookie to the person who recognises the characters.

*Sniff, I feel so innadequate after seeing some of the works here.
Anyway, Here are a few doodles from my sketchbook. I dont have a scanner so these were taken with a digital camera.
Other works are on my photobucket profile, http://s427.photobucket.com/albums/pp354/RavingPenguinAK/

The first one is one of my favorite sketches, and the second one...I probably deserve to be slapped around for a good minute or two for that one.

Okay, I'll bite. These are some things I've done mostly for fun, first attempts at things figure out how to make things look right for clients.

Except the Cars car. It's just a dream of mine. To work there.

*sighs*

O.O Dude. Sweeeet. If you made jigsaw puzzles out of those, I'd buy 'em.
