Wow, I really need to find my self-portrait I did this past year...it was a ***** to do, even though it doesn't look like it.

Actually, I could give a short preview of a story I'm working on...so, here ya go!
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
Tonight was cold, and when I say cold, I mean the kinda cold that could kill a man. But maybe it was just me. I mean, I was on top of a building and I did have a sniper rifle trained on the head of my twin sister.

Yes, I'm an assassin, but not the kind you just hire off the streets. I only work for one person, myself. And the ***** in the window is going to pay. She destroyed everything and ruined my life.

It was hard enough burying my dad, only to turn around and bury the rest of my horribly slain family. And that ***** just stood there and smirked. I swear by all that is holy that tonight will be her last.

Mom...Dad...I'm doing this for you. Reinu, please wait for me, I'll be with you soon.

Yeah, that's just a tiny little sample.

I might try to make him a little suit later, if I have the patience. Paint is... annoying to work with sometimes.

A Boy did some thinking the other night
and A Boy realized that A Boy might
be an ungrateful little shit
and the cause of A Boy's parents split
you see
everything was fine in A Boy's parent's life,
until the day Mother found out she was carrying A Boy.
Mother and Father were deeply in love,
Father didn't use a condom one night,
he's a little dumb
Wait, maybe that's a little harsh.
Mother approached Father and gave him an ultimatum:
Marry, and raise the little runt inside,
Or split, never to be heard from again.
Father thought "Umm,
I'm a good man, a decent man,
I'll marry you hon"
Father is a little dumb.

Fast forward 22 years,
A Boy is a bum mooching off A Boy's parents
Mother supresses her pain with countless beers,
Father is on the other side of the planet,
Nothing new for him, He's always been distant.

Mother starts to get her shit straight,
Starts to get counseling and puts the pieces together.
Realizes her relationship with father could be better.
She wants to split from the man she thought she loved.
The two of them were obligated to be together.

See, A Boy is the inadvertent cause of A Boy's mother's pain
the reason she drinks herself into a coma each night
But she grins and bears it,
Says A Boy is the light of her life,
That A Boy could do no wrong in her eyes.
Really? or could It be that A Boy cant top the wrong
A Boy caused her 22 years ago?
who knows?

What if father weren't the upstanding person he was?
what if father split at the first sign of trouble?
mother would have been inconvenienced for a few months
pushed a boy out.
raised a boy on her own
which is what she's done the whole time
or put a boy up for auction.. err adoption
and forgot about a boy,
to turn around and meet the man of her dreams,
Live happily ever after,
not having to settle,
for the man
who is currently overseas

What of a boy?
if A boy were to be found in a dumpster,
or put up for auction... err adoption,
What family would have taken pity on a boy?
if any?
If a boy were raised by the state,
in some third rate home for kids in the same place
maybe a boy would be a more independent person,
introduced to society's ills earlier in life,
a boy would be more prepared for the realities
of the sick, sad little world

Yes it's cheesy. But that's what you get when you don't have Photoshop and have to use Powerpoint

Once again I am asking the amazingly talented people on here to draw my Dungeons and Dragon character.

Both myself and the people who I play with were impressed with the last effort =D

Since that picture was drawn, the character kept the streets of Sigil City of Doors safe, fought some demons in a minitor temple, got turned to stone by an epic level wizard trapped in a sword that was being wielded by a 6 armed snake lady then turned back from stone by the cleric, fought a Balor, died, got brought back to life by a god, released the Wizard in the sword and defeated the Balor, trapping his soul inside a giant black orb.

Awesome!

Anyway, we are starting a new game in a couple of weeks and would love to have a picture of my next Character.

His name is Cruxx, he is a 4th level Swashbuckler and 3rd level Bard. He is 5'9 and 165lbs with blue eyes, black hair and tanned skin. He is quite athletic as well as charismatic. In battle he wields a flaming Spiked Chain and wears a Mithral chain shirt.

I'm not too sure on his personality yet but I am hoping that a visual picture will help stir some things. Feel free to have as much artistic freedom as you need.

Thanks in advance everyone =D

God that sounds like a blast to draw. The only issue is Im kinda swamped with my own projects at the moment, and it could be weeks if I ever get around to doing this. Right now Im working on my own character and a request by Suiseseki. Sorry mate, but someone else will probably take you up on this

Hey guys. I gots myself some new digital work to show (In case I haven't explained this before I dislike showing my physical works on the internet because I feel that you do not take it in well over the internet and I intended them for people to view in person; thus I only display my digital projects).

This is the beginning of a new project based on one of my favorite books by my favorite fantasy author. This is a rough draft of one of characters that will be part of a larger scene. I will be posting the images separately and merging all the images later. Anyway, at the moment this is pretty rough, but its what I need before I put them together and I can clean everything up from there. Regardless I'm pretty happy with how this turned out after a little more than an hour of work.

Good to hear you liked the last one so much.

As soon as I get Photoshop working again I'll give it a shot. This Cruxx fellow seems like a very interesting character, and more importantly would be really fun to draw.

Might take me a few days or so...been having some computer troubles. But I'll definately give it a go.

I'd love to take a crack at it. I have about 4 projects I'm working on right now, but if I'm blanking on all my projects I'll definitely take a stab at this.

Sometimes when I'm bored enough I break out my old Flash MX 2004 and I play around with the some incredibly basic frame-by-frame dealies, that I've come to call the "Thingies".

Originally they were basic enough to really only be round headed little guys with what looked like socks for bodies...
[link]http://teh-g-man.deviantart.com/art/Thingy-pt2-thingy-revenge-48722347[/link]

But that was about a two or so years ago and they have since evolved.

into this.

Like I said I don't do animation very often, in fact the last time I did it seriously was to make a doritos ad for that contest a year back, even then I was also doing it for College.

These things are about the only things I bother to animate, and most of the time I'm pretty happy with the result. Just wanted to see what people on here thought.

That's honestly really quite good. I like the design of the characters.

I'm envious, in fact. They look so free and naturally cartoony. Also the animation is rather gorgeous <3

So, I'm currently trying to get my ass in gear so I can start working on an entry for that "Stonking Great Game" contest. I mean come on I get to make a game and win massive amounts of swag? It's a win-win.

I'm going to have to end up animating a lot of crap down the line, so I'm starting out by making "resources" for all of the characters. That means bodies, hands and feet, heads with different facial expressions, and so on. I've been working on doing that for most of the day, but I already know that making the art assets will end up being the easiest part of the entire process.

Right now I've got basic character assets for Yahtzee and "regular" people, including a bunch of different faces and stuff like different bodies. The imps will be up next. For the hell of it I'll post updates of my progress on this when I get the chance until it's either done or I abandon it out of sheer apathy and procrastination. Whichever comes first.

Oh, and finally we have this:

That is all,

Well I'm a cartoonist, so I like to draw random stuff like this.

Yep. A sophisticated cat. What you gonna do about it?

I also animate a lot, but none of my vids have met much success. Oh well one can dream.
