You weren't kidding when you said this thread wouldn't die...
It's almost a year old! We should have a birthday party for it, or something. People should do birthday submissions.
Maybe everyone should draw a cake on it's birthday.

Just jumping in here to help.
Right click on the actual picture, select "Copy image location," and paste that in the image tags.
EDIT: I think this is only valid for Firefox.
For IE, right click, go to properties, and select the link that it gives you.

I've never tried that method before, but if it works like Bob says, then go on and try that, Gamer.

Well, you're the first person to ever just call me "Phoe", so I think we're even on that one.

As for if there's another way, I'm not even really sure what it is that's goes wrong with your pictures. I mean, I copy the IMG code that Photobucket gives me all the time, and I've never had any trouble...
Are you copying the right link, maybe?

Okay, now I see what the problem is. You can't paste the link you're copying in between IMG tags. You have to copy what's in the "IMG Code" box on the left side of your screen (at the bottom of the "Share this" box).
Do you get it?

... You spelled "worse" wrong. Seriously get some rest, unless you did that on purpose in which case I'll overlook it.

Stage one. Initial sketch. I had a stock reference [http://fc03.deviantart.com/fs38/i/2008/323/3/b/Art_nudes___Y___1_by_mjranum_stock.jpg] for the figure which helped a lot.

Stage two. Outline with corrections to figure.

Stage three. Initial colouring.

This looks to be a long project, and my first working from scratch with a computer painting. So far: three hours work with pencil and paper first, then mouse and Gimp. Hooray for not having a tablet.
This is turning out well. It reminds me a lot of the concept art for the Asari in Mass Effect; more aqueous, though.

Stage 4 Basic tone.

Stage 5. I call them splorts. I felt her colouring was boring without it.

Stage 6. Texturing the splorts.

Stage 7. Got rid of the outline and started work on the part definition. More tone and such to come.

Stage 8. Detail, more detail. Shading, etc. Soon I'll start on the backdrop.

So far.. 8 hours work.

More definition of light and dark needs to occur on the speckles, unless you are planning on making the speckles lambent at a later point, which would arguably be super awesome.
