Woah, that got me excited for two seconds then I remember how all Hollywood movies end.
The hyper advanced aliens get beaten by filthy humies and the hero of the day is no other then Dreamy Mc Gay Pants himself who selflessly carries a pudding bomb (the only thing in the world that kills these aliens) into the mothership, and obviously he survives.

Hmmm... It's either going to be good or so, so bad.

We'll see. But this has to be the most reduculous game tie-in film ever made. Battleship for one never even possessed a story. They better include a bit where all the radar is jammed and all they can do is take pot shots at each other. But since there are aliens in this thing (I'm asuming alians and not super hightech mechs from another super power on Earth), that kind of makes it a little bit one sided...
