Battlefield Bad Company 2. Good shooter interesting ideas and concepts and I can tell it would be fun. If I could turn down the particle effects and not have to worry about my PC slowing down to 10 frames per second every time someone wanted to use a grenade launcher.

Halo 3, but mostly because I'm forced to play it during my group's get togethers since it's the only 4 player game my friend has, and partly because I hate all FPSs except for Valve's.

Street fighter 4, none of the characters are balanced and the chip damage is so large that it makes spamming a legitimate tactic. I mean, yes I still play super street fighter 4, and am pretty good at it, but it's still so bad...

while I'm on topic of things I hate that everyone thinks is just the greatest thing since sex: death note. It's a fine anime and all, but it's caused my friend to believe that nothing will ever come close to the level of greatness that it achieved and now will not watch anything other than that, it's really annoying because he makes up the worst excuses, too. whatever I'm getting a little too far off topic, so I'll just end my post by saying that death note is terrible.

I want to say Halo but everyone seems to have already said it so... Final Fantasy XIII. Bland and linear gameplay, annoying characters, crappy combat and nothing that I haven't already seen done (and done better) in other Final Fantasy games. Despite this I can see that it is a good game and everyone I ask loves it.

No one yet? Okay.

Modern. Warfare. Two. I just... I don't know. I'm actually good at it, too. It's just that whenever I play it, I feel as though I should be doing something... fun. It just... isn't. Bland, boring, static, controlled... Not good. Not fun.

Bad Company 2, however, is awesome.

Definitely Fallout 3.
I acknowledge that it has a lot of great gameplay mechanics, interesting characters and fine graphics, and I really, really tried getting into it, but I couldn't do it. Once I left the vault I was immediately put off by the atmosphere and especially the landscape - even with good rendering it ultimately was a horrendous greyish brown blob with little to no variety, and after six hours I succumbed to frustration and uninstalled the game.

Dragon Age: Origins for me. That game is just right out boring.

Mass Effect. I know, blasphemy but.. I just don't like it, and I really can't get into it.
And this. Mass Effect just can't seem to hold my interest for long.

I really hate GTA and Red Dead Redemption. I just think that they lack the depth of other open world games. I know that they aren't trying to be RPG's, but I still think that they should have more stuff to do than just screw around and do missions.

any final fantasy game beyond 5, I personally fell that at 6 onward it becames sci-fi more than fantasy

I also find the halo series bland, not bad, just, boring at times, I actually enjoyed ODST though, so maybe, I just don't like master chief....

Bioshock - from minor niggles to major.

The HUD for example, always seems to be rendered in 800 x 600 (like when an objective pops up). Minor, but it's persistent and it looks unpolished.

Then there's a problem with the gameplay loop; because you can't die, you basically spend the game charging at something when all you have is a couple of bullets and a plasmid shot, then rinse and repeat.

The game is nowhere near as deep as it pretends to be either. The choice of killing the sisters is incredibly shallow; sure I felt bad and so I never killed them, but if you kill 2 out of the X amount in the game you're a hideous monster.

That brings me on to the ending, where the game just fizzles out. That itself is a problem with the one-trick story, where you spend the entire game building up to about 5 minutes and then the next couple of hours not really doing anything. The one-trick story is related to the rubbish pacing, and part of the problem with the pacing is caused by the crappy gameplay loop.

Oh, and related to that gameplay loop are the "collect" missions that turn up and last for like an hour when you need to get through a door.

I get that people love it and I'd never say it was a bad game, it just didn't work for me at all.

i understand why you don't like assassin's creed but if you haven't played the 2nd you should try it, but who knows what kind of games you like except yourself

i don't like halo i think yeah its fun but i just don't like the controls or story sorry guys
I couldn't stand the first assassins creed. There was something about the guards that started chasing as soon as you looked at them funny and the long horse rides that just made me bored out of my mind.

The second one however I quite like. Its a lot better in regards to everything. Especially guards not randomly starting to chase you.

Anything by Valve or Activision.
I've genuinely tried to get into games from both of them, and I at least try their games if I know somebody who has them, but I find them to be terribly boring.

I don't really like Orcarina of Time. I know it essentially means that my rights to game is taken away but hear me out. I understand that its a stellar game that redesigned the entire landscape of gaming and that its the closest that the series of Legend of Zelda has gotten to cinematic storytelling but really it just doesn't do it for me. Furthermore, as a fan of games like Link's Awakening and Minish Cap, my opinion suddenly doesn't matter because OoT isn't my favorite.

Resistance 1 and 2 I find the single player boring and bland. The multiplayer co-op is so over whelming, your just shooting at a mass of bad guys. they just bug me so much.

Bioshock as well but I really wanted to like it I thought the graphics were great and the story and setting where good but I just could not get into it.

The halo series seems to be a rather popular target, so I'll refrain from bashing that. I'll go with modern warfare again, instead of nerfing the perks that made the first one slightly unbalanced, they just went and made them even more overpowered.
