Honestly though, I would have to say climbing my first mountain and the view from up there. It was only about a 8 or 9 mile hike, but getting to the top and seeing for literally miles around, it's really something else.

I've had a euphoric feeling a few times after eating really good home cooked meals at the end of a good day; usually made by a loved one, but sometimes just from a meal I made myself. It's happened less than a dozen times in the past few years though.

Long answer: People who cross the line of use to dependancy take longer to adjust to 'normal life happiness' in approximate preportion to factors...

Even long time junkies can turn around and be happy with normal life again. It's just not easy.

The best feeling I've ever had huh....

Well there was this one night, middle of the winter. Me and a friend of mine were out one night with a few other friends grabbing some food. After that everyone went off their separate ways. She happened to be headed the same way as me, so we started talking for a bit. We stopped by the park, and decided to sit down for a minute. It started to snow, and we ended up just sitting there. Talking. We ended up huddling together, and we just sat there for what seemed like forever. It was absolute bliss.

Too me, its when you go to bed knowing you have to get up early for work or school, you wake up and you immediately think "fuck I have to get up now" but you look at your clock and realize its only like 1:00 in the morning. Fuckin awesome
