You know what's better than that? When you wake up at 5am due to a telephone ring, look out your window and see it's snowing heavily, and you put 2 and 2 together. Similarly, waking up at 4am on a weekday, looking at your phone, and realizing that it's actually the weekend.Haseo21 said:

There have been times when I was stuck in a temple in Zelda or a trial in Phoenix Wright for days, then the solution would come to me in the middle of the night as if I was just dreaming about it. This, I have a person that does this for me. She's never put me completely to sleep before but only because she's never given me a massage just before I was ready to go to sleep. Also, not quite as good as getting a massage is getting a big hug from her.Blindswordmaster said:

lying bed while its raining/snowing outside,playing bass/DJ-ing on stage while everyone in the audience is going crazy,doing lots in a day (like waking at 6 and maybe going to a movie with a girl then snuging her and finishing a painting you have been working on and then playing poker with friends and drinking maybe visting your mother)and then go to bed knowing that "today was a good day".Also i heard heroin is the best thing in the world but i havent tryed it because its suppost to be so additive and its kind of cheating
Well I can say that the best feeling for me is when I see my Marianne walking away and I begin dreaming about the old songs they used to play. In fact I find it to be even better than the best feeling. Its hard to explain, its almost MORE than a feeling... if that makes any sense.
1.) When my husband gets home, and I hear him through a dream-like fuzzy state. Then I can feel his body slide into bed and meet with mine into the perfect warm spooning position. (Even better if the temperature outside of the covers is freezing) =D
2.)Getting unexpected snail mail from older relatives or a package! No one writes snail mail anymore. When I get it, open it, and read it; it feels classic. Sort of time-machine like.
3.) Laying out on an old comforter on the grass, during a breezy day, with the dogs.
4.)A family gathering with good food, great conversation, fun new/old stories; where nothing goes wrong and not one person gets upset (and they didn't bring their kids with them........what?!).
5.) Lazy afternoons in the living room surrounded by a comforter (that's also housing small warm dog bodies), something good to eat, and a great movie on t.v.
6.) And of course, everything everyone already posted about the video games feelings. =D

I agree with op, that feeling is fucking awesome!
But the best would have to be being on the beach in one of my favorite resort cities of Greece, on a hot day with your best friend, a frappe in the left hand and a cigarette in the right one, knowing that there is a whole night full of booze, clubs, joints and girls ahead of us.
