Well, I have a few I can remember..

Christmas morning as a child or Thanksgiving with my extended family (and watching the NFL while we stuff ourselves )

Watching Death Note while sitting next to the very cold back door in the middle of winter wrapped in blankets drinking hot chocolate and eating chocolate.. :3

Playing Left 4 Dead and completely dominating a skilled team..

And being by myself (or with friends or family), eating pizza, drinking a load of my favorite soda, and watching something entertaining (Such as my friends screaming at each other while they button-mash their way through Street Fighter. )

MOST GRATIFYING FEELING EVER, is when your playing any online game with a good friend, say halo for example, and its just you and them versus a whole team, and you just narrowly win. Your yelling and just plain freeking out. Its the closest you can come to the feeling of true victory without being in an actual war. its just great every time. its for those moments that im a gamer.

And sitting curled up on a bean-bag chair with a mug of cocoa and a thunderstorm raging outside (in fact, that's my ideal date, just me and my dream girl doing that, maybe watching a film together or something ).

I personally find that when I'm at Airsoft, and myself and a few more people are holed up in a certain location during an attack and defend game, fighting against all odds and winning. 1-A lazy weekend with 2 or 3 brand new games you've been waiting months to play.

2-The first jump into a pool of the summer.

3-Under the blankets straight out of the shower where cozy just can't describe it.

4-Getting recognition for an idea you've actually put into some kind of presentable form.

5-Hanging out with friends with no set purpose or curfew for as long as you can stay awake.

Well, a feeling I've come to really enjoy is going to PT early in the morning, then coming back to my dorm, showering, and heading to my favorite on-campus dining hall and eating a really big breakfast, before going back to bed to sleep for a couple more hours.

There's that, and there's the feeling you get during a Crowning Moment of Awesome/Funny/Heartwarming (in TV Tropes parlance).


Be it a CMOH in a Pixar film, CMOA in a great game like Mass Effect, or CMOF in your favorite TV show, great stories can have a way of being life-affirming. That is one hell of a feeling.
