rule 15 made me lol!
i think it took nearly a month to think up the name that became my GT. originally i used to be Archaon666 for everything, then i had a stint on Runescape, where they wouldn't allow the 666, so it became 6044, which was my candidate number at GCSE level exams. it's just sort of stuck from there

If you're going to put your name in it, don't question how people know your name.
Example from experience:
Me: Hey, George, can you cover me?
xXKingGeorgeXx: How do you know my name?!
It just makes you look stupid.
Actually commenting on your guidelines:
They're all pretty good, though I would say that they are maybe directed at the wrong crowd here. I mean, most of the people here are mature enough to know these guidelines already.
Except for Max, but then again he goes out of his way to be the exception.

Uhm because you sortof gotta have a name for your account? I use my first name and the initials of my last name, cause no matter what I come up with it seams like something fake anyways. And i can't just leave it blank can I? I'm not trying to create an alternate personality for when i'm online, same reason i use my own face as my avatar (though it's currently consealed by a paint-added ninja mask cause of genre wars)Taniquel said:

I would rather play with a guy who has say 97 in his name and isn't ashamed of beeing 12 years old than i'd play with someone who goes over the top to hide his age, cause fake maturity is 100 times worse than immaturity.
I'd like to add one. Admittedly, I didn't scan all the posts for it, but since I didn't see it in the original post (which you're obviously updating), I'm going to assume noone's mentioned it so far.
Don't put special characters in your name if you don't actually mean the sound they symbolize. Don't call yourself "Hëllø" if you mean "Hello". Because chances are you'll run into someone who actually has those letters in his or her native language. And then you'll look stupid.
