Doesn't sound as good as smurf.
"I totally smurfed her" sounds better than "I totally damed her."

Also I would join in the irc chat only my java plug in hates me. I could have stamped out this fire before it started, now look.
Chatzilla, ftw

At risk of looking stupid, where is the escapist IRC?
I feel left out of the dameing loop.
I just use the Java Client. goto the main page, search for IRC, click the first article that comes up. It has the way into the Java client, plus the info if you'd rather use mIRC or something.

The IRC ups the dame-factor of the site huge.

Bah. Dame is nowhere near as good as funderful.
Dame your tongue! But in all seriousness, Dame isn't a substitute for other fun or funny words. Dame is a NEW funny word that is flexible enough to be used with any other word (Serious or not).

That's the beauty of dame.

Dame...sounds like lame for a reason.

Smurfin was cool, it was little blue people that were smurftastic. Compare that to dametastic, and it feels more and more like craptastic.

I can't see myself using it. I'm not really the type of person that goes along with a trend.

Edit: And does anyone know why I can't remember most December? It's bugging the hell out of me!

...what the smurf are you people talking about?

(Just as I wrote that, I realised I'm sitting here wearing a blue hoodie and red hat. I seriously have not the words.)

Can't say it really works for me.

If we're fake cursing I'd rather use Pirates of Dark Water's "noy jatat". It just rolls off the tongue so nicely and works well in a string.

as in "Noy jatat! If this jatatin computer gets one more jatatin virus..."
