Sorry I wasn't able to get this in earlier, unexpected issues with the family.
Name: Grexec "Tank" Wrawl

Gender: Male

Race: Krogan

Age: 1038

Appearance: Large than most of his species, standing in about twelve feet and weighing roughly 500 pounds. The left half of his face is badly scarred due to a duel he had in his late 200's. Red eyes. Never seen outside of his armor [http://masseffected.pbworks.com/f/1199994085/mass-effect-20070620020613672.jpg].

Class: Soldier

Powers: Concussive Shot, Cryo Ammo, Adrenaline Rush

Pre-Service Record: Grexec spent the majority of his life on the Krogan homeworld of Tuchanka, spending the first eight hundred years of his life killing members of rival clans, torturing members of rival clans, and destroying things belonging to rival clans. His life only differed from that routine once he became 856 when he singed up with the Bloodpack, then he got to do those same actions to members of different species across the galaxy. Needless to say his life was entirely focused around killing, which is to be expected from a Krogan, but seeing as he has lived so long it gives to hint to others that he's good at his job.

Psychological Profile: Like most other Krogan, Grexec tends to be blunt, unsympathetic, and rather self-centered. The feelings of others have no place in his decision making, unless he's trying to make them feel an indescribable world of hurt. Once more he is like the rest of his species, as violence is often the only way he knows how to solves problem. His tenancies to go into "Bloodrage" often cause his to be appear stupid, this if far from the truth, in actuality he is regarded as a brilliant strategist and tactician.

Notes: Grexec uses the M-300 Claymore Heavy Shotgun [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/M-300_Claymore_Heavy_Shotgun], M-8 Avenger [http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/M-8_Avenger] and the M-100 Grenade Launcher.

I believe Captainguy is doing something important the next day or two, so we might have to wait until the weekend before we can start it.
Indeed, currently I'm in LA visiting colleges, I've got access to the internet but my schedule is to hectic for me to be able to reliably RP. I'm going to return home on either Saturday depending on the time I do we'll start then or on Sunday. I'm sorry if this is an inconvenience for any of you.

I can't wait for this to start. I may not be able to post Sunday, but once I start I will probably become obsessed.

Edit: Before I forget. My characters weapons are the M-9 Tempest, and the M-6 Handcannon in case anyone other than myself looked at my sheet amongst the others and wondered.

Would have made this sooner, but my computer's been down all week so I was just able to make it tonight.

Name: Esten 'Val' Valack

Race: Salarian

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Appearence:
Less spots, a few scars

Class: Soldier

Powers: Adrenaline Rush, Disrupter Ammo, Armor Piercing Ammo (If acceptable)

Pre-Service Record: Has said very little on the subject except that he served with the STG for a number of years. Claims he helped in a variety of assassinations, and the triggerman in most. He has not said the reason for his leave however, leading to rumors that he either deserted, or dishonorable discharged. He is extermely accurate with a sniper rifle.

Psychological Profile: Mostly quiet and to himself, however, he has been heard talking to himself several times both in and out of combat. Has a very cold voice, showing almost no emotion as he speaks. He will do anything in his power to accomplish a mission, and often look back on his actions with no remorse. He?s also a bit sadistic, often finding more calm in combat as opposed to the rest of his life. He is never seen without some form of a weapon on him.

Notes:

Equipment: Heavily Customized M-97 Viper Sniper Rifle, M-15 Vindicator, M-6 Carnifex Hand Cannon

Name: Kyle Hansen

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 33

Appearence: Neck length light brown hair, green eyes, stands six foot two. Not exceptionally muscular for former Alliance Military. Usually dresses casual, but well.

Class: Infiltrator (Qualified Pilot)

Powers: Tactical Cloak, Disruptor Ammo, Cryo Ammo (He can also fly a ship!)

Pre-Service Record: Born into a long line of Alliance Military Servicemen, Kyle grew up around spaceships, and became a natural pilot, and a fairly decent marksman. Unfortunately, an aptitude for flight and combat skills are not the only requirements in the military. Kyle wasn?t very keen on following orders, and longed for a life of adventure and freedom. He left the military, and became a freelance pilot and mercenary, and after working several jobs, ended up joining the Dawn Breakers.

Psychological Profile: Easy-going, cheerful, with a positive outlook on life. Some comment that Kyle Hansen is a bit of a callous smartass, but he doesn?t really care. He?s more interested in how he?s going to pay for his next week of nightclub binges than finding a real job.

Equipment: In the field, Kyle carries an M-15 Vindicator Battle Rifle, and is equipped with black + generic camouflage detail armor. Kyle is always carrying a Predator M-3 Heavy Pistol.

So, I found out about this earlier, was going to sign up, but accidentally lost the link...

Here's hoping there's still room for one more... please?

As of now I don't know if Captainguy is willing to accept more people, but he might be willing to let a few more in, I dunno (more the merrier in my opinion). Try your best to convince him I guess lol.

Hope you're still taking people...

Name: Evan Holloway

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Class: Soldier

Age: 27

Abilities: Concussive shot, Armor piercing ammo, Adrenaline rush

Appearance: Neatly groomed short dirty blond hair, green eyes, stands 6 feet, looks like he'd fit better into a suit than into combat armor.

Pre-service Record: Evan grew up on Earth among other privileged youth. He attended private school and lived a life of luxury. When he opted to attend a lower-end university, he found that mingling with the various social groups proved an excellent opportunity to refine his social skills. He intended to pursue a career in politics until he saw three of his closest friends gunned down by a group of gang members. Outraged, he took up a pistol and mercilessly shot down his friends' murderers. His parents spent several thousand credits settling out of court with the families of Evan's victim. Evan changed his major to galactic law and enlisted in the Alliance four years later. For two years, Evan served with the Alliance before dropping out to sign up with C-Sec. A year later, he was laid-off and now freelances as a merc.

Psychological Profile: Evan is a politician at heart. Initial encounters mark him as a polite, charming, charismatic individual. Evan finds himself at home in situations where negotiation is a viable solution. He prefers to resolve things peacefully and will be aggressive when he has to. In combat, he tends to be cautious and try to work with his team. If there's one thing that Evan is utterly horrible at, it's lying. He's charming, but cannot bluff to save his life.

Equipment: M-8 Assault Rifle, M-3 Predator Heavy Pistol standard M7 Alliance Armor

I would agree with you, but we sorta lose the intensity of combat when we out number the enemy ten to one. :p

Also we really don't have a balanced company, not a single sexy blue thing Asari to be found. Actually that raises an odd question, it seems like the Batarians and Vorcha aren't in the Dawn Breakers, why's that?

Already accepted characters number at 11 already. I would have assumed for a lot of missions, you wouldn't send a massive force to deal with things, but smaller task forces and such. For example, a mission to protect a Volus Diplomat, different teams do different things. A few people would stay in his office with him, others spread around on the floor, and then maybe a couple snipers on the building opposite.

And on the note of balance, while the Asari thing is vaild, Batarians and Vorcha were not placed as options on the character sheet. No one would probably play as Vorcha though, but I was tempted to make a Batarian character for a while. And on an Asari note, maybe no one wants to play the blue skinned female aliens.

Nobody likes Asari. :p There isn't much diversity but that's not too big of an issue (though I'm sad at the lack of a Drell). I haven't taken a look at the character sheet in a bit, but I believe that you're allowed to make your character any species (other than Volus/Elcor/Vorcha/Hanar/other ones that can't help much) if you wanted to.

I also think that missions will be split for teams (like you said). Makes us not outnumber everyone and allow our character's to shine.

Hanar, elcor and volus useless? What gibberish is this?
Blasto and the BIOTIC GOD would like to prove you wrong.
On topic, 'wut' at the sudden surge of late applicants.
Regarding Batarians, I was kinda tempted by the idea of a batarian doctor but their aspect and backstory didn't seem as fleshed out or distinctive as the other races.

I certainly didn't mean useless! I happen to love my Hanar, Elcor, Volus brethren. I just meant that they're not normally fighters (more of lovers...).

Batarian doctor...interesting. I could actually see it kinda work. *now curious on Batarians and goes to read up on them*

First off, Volus useless? Not if we need an accountant to keep track of our money!

And Elcor?! Well to quote the Mass Effect Wiki,

'The slow speed and immense size of the elcor makes them easy targets. Fortunately, their durable hide allows them to shrug off most incoming fire. Elcor warriors don't carry small arms; their broad shoulders serve as a stable platform for the same size of weapons typically mounted on Alliance fighting vehicles. '

Walking, talking, monotoned tanks!

Vorcha also make good cannon fodder.

As for the Hanar... Well they're just big, stupid jellyfish!

I apologize but we are not taking any new applicants, I regret that we can't because I can see all of you would make good additions, but I simply would be overtaxed to coordinate that many people. I will remember all of you and keep you on a reserve list, so if anyone drops, or I feel like we can add more players, I'll invite you in.

To those accepted:

I'm going to post the opener first chance I get on sunday so be ready. Also I would like to know what time zones you are all in, because I plan to make the fire teams according to the players time-zones to better synchronize RPing. So just tell me your time-zone, and what hours you are usually active and I will do the rest.

Well it's 3:42 as I'm typing this. I'm on at any time of the day on weekends, during the week I'm on at 10 and 12 for about 15 minutes to half an hour. After school again at anytime.

I am in the Pacific Standard Time zone. I usually play from about 4-10 PM because of school.

Eastern Standard Time, and normally I'll post from 3PM - 10Pm on week days, and I'm usually free to post on weekends with minimal constraints.

Though be warned, my depression has returned with a vengeance, so some days I really can't think straight.
