"Well, my votes for the former," Ripley said to everyone, wondering what everyone else will choose. 'We'll probably get a few formers, but it'll be mainly the latter,' she thought to herself.
I suppose they do, well don't worry were at a good place for people to jump back into the swing of things, we are in the base now so we can pick up people.
Though that, will have to wait till tomorrow, now I sleep.
Sindri woke up in his room. It was dark, and he had an unusually painful headache. He watched the clock -he had been asleep for a good part of the day already.
He could hear voices in the common-room outside, and decided it was time to get up. He grunted as he got out of bed, put on some clothes and took a medium level painkiller. Sindri sighed with relief as the medicine spread throughout his body, taking the most of the migraine with it.
He opened the door to the common-room, and instinctively raised his arm to cover his eyes from the light. He waited a few moments to let his eyes adjust to the brighter room, and then closed the door behind him and took a seat. He didn't say anything, but nodded towards Yossar and Ripley.
Since Sindri is not really the trusting type, does someone want to be one of my few close friends that I trust?
Harel was quite pleased with the way the very first mission for the company was going; non-violent. Minus the fluxtuation of tension and shouting between some of his new co-workers, there didn't seem to be much trouble for a brand new company like this one. Ofcourse the building wasn't in the finest of conditions, he barely knew any of his collegues and some of them did seem pretty cranky, but things could have been always worse.
Back to the matter at hand, Harel spoke out to the rest of the team
"I'm in favour of negotiating with the bouncers. This may seem like a tangent but, are the bouncers also asari?"
Nathan awoke to the sound of discussion, and listened quietly to the details
1. They had a job
2. Evidence was most likely in a club
3. How were they going to proceed?
Nathan decided now was a good time to make his entrance
"It's simple"
He said, walking out of his room towards the others
"We go in there and take what we need. The bouncers aren't paid nearly enough to take on a group like us. We walk up, tell them what we need, and get it"
"Diplomacy and stealth, best options. No clue what we will find once inside, could be enemy is patron or owner. Talk to guards is best option, lowest risk."
"Well, logically if it is a law abiding club we should just talk to the bouncers. And, hey, if that doesn't work we can always just take what we need anyway." Sal said speaking up for the first time since starting the mission.
"I say we just force ourselves in, we have the guns and the man power to do so." Grexec mumbled through his helmet. "Besides, its been so long since I've taken someone's life, this will be a good way for me to mellow out."
"I'm back from the base analyzing that data pad, yes it seems she just ran away, at least that's what I get from all this , I say half of us try to covince our way in, and the other half sneaks in" Dimir said
"He probably did it to himself," Ripley told Yossar, watching Santius. "So, have we decided yet? I think we're all set to continue the mission, but it's your call," she said.
Should be on most of the day, but I supposedly might be working in the yard later on. Who knows if I will or how long it would take.
" Looks like were going in peacefully," Yossar replied, he stood up and checked his gun and began walking around the room, "We'll convince the guard their in a world hurt if they don't let us in, and then we talk to the manager and check out the registry to see if our girl has been there. Simple enough?"
This method was the lesser of the two evils in Harel's point of view, but it still didn't seem like his cup of tea. He turned to Yossar
"Do we really gotta threaten them? If they're not asari bouncers they might be able to listen to reason or some cash. Even if they were asari you know, we could get them to understand the situation. Theres no real need to resort to threats..."
"I agree with...Harel right? Perhaps we can threaten them if we can't get the information from them nicely," Ripley said, making sure she had her extra medi-gel (always brings more than what's needed) and her guns.
" The club values it's exclusivity, and more than likely they don't care for a bunch of aliens walking in and asking nicely, not to mention, the girls life might be at stake and I don't want to wait until the guards understand the situation, fear works the quickest. Nathan, do you want to talk to the guards?"
