5. I guess I'm not depressed when I have a good job, am graduating from a prestigious college in a semester, am seeing a beautiful girl and am currently vacationing in costa rica. Thank god. If I were actually depressed when i had all those things going for me I'd punch me in the mouth.

So basically not matter what you have depression so I would like to say that this test is invalid since I am not at all depressed and got a minor depression

Also how in the hell does "Do you feel tired" have shit all to do with depression maybe you're just tired as in you didnt sleep

I scored a 20 and I'm not worried at all about it and I've never been depressed before.

Yay for not being depressed.
That was around the area of what I was expecting, I was expecting to get 14 but still good.

I'm sorry, but I literally laughed out loud when I read your comment. Which is probably a bad sign.

Is it okay that this made me laugh? I mean you're 'depressed' but you seem pretty psyched about it.
Well some people deal with depression with jokes. Glad I could make you all chuckle (sincerely).
Mostly I was trying to point out how absurd most online medical quizzes are. I bet if you googled one for it, you could find a quiz that tells you you're at risk of a heart attack, or cancer, or both.

You mean that I don't have cancer, heart failure, and Super-AIDS? But the internet told me I did. The internet is always right. Blasphemer, don't you doubt the might of the internet! It shall smite you!

Seriously, I did enjoy your post. And I wasn't taking that quiz seriously.

Hopefully, you are well. Take care.

Judging by the sheer volume of depression-related threads I've chanced upon in my short stay here, I don't think there are many people on this forum who aren't clinically depressed. It's like Freud's waiting room up in here.

64! I win at depression.
Thanks Doctor Goldberg! Now I can put a number to the severe crippling depression I already knew I had.
How depressed am I? I'm 64 depressed.
I got 64 too.

32, what a crock. I'm not 'mildly to moderately' depressed, I'm just negative, and I have low self esteem. Everyone has that nowadays.

I love how it asks 'do you have suicidal thoughts' and then presents the fact at the end as though it's some kind of revelation that was found through in-depth study of the results. Hilarious.

Yeah, I've suffered from bouts of depression in the past. It's usually not even triggered by anything; it's chronic, which is why I do worry about going through it again. Sometimes it just comes and goes. I was really down for about two or three weeks not that long ago, and hated everything about myself. And yet right now I'm fine and happy and I've pretty much never felt better.

I might be kind of bipolar, come to think of it...

Apparently minor to moderate depression. Who cares, really? It's not too big of a deal.

36 - 53 Moderate to severe depression

It's always the quiet ones... yet I feel fine. How now, professionally crafted depression test?

Anyway, I'm glad you're seeking help- depression is nothing to take lightly, after all.
