The Dreshi has died.

"cheers Xeo, but i had it covered" shout Karsk. Then he ran at a duo of Dreshi, stuck his blade into the throat of one, whilst using his psi to make it punch the other. then he turned and kicked the confused Dreshi, causing it to spin and fall to the ground, he was about to stab it when he read that one of the Dreshi was about to fatally wound Marda. He only had a second to help. He chose to move the Dreshi's arm a few inches, causing it to miss, allowing marda to hit it with her staff.
Marda was getting tired, he need to help her. He finished of the Dreshi he had knocked to the ground and ran over to her, taking out 3 dreshi as he went.

Ultor saw the new battaion coming and using his psi picked up a medium-sized boulder and threw it at the front of the Dreshi killing about 15 of them

Event time.
A large portion of the Dreshi retreat to the cave, leaving about 20-25 Dreshi to hold the intruders back.

"They're running scared!" yelled De'kren as he kicked one off the edge of his sword, he slipped the C'frin from his back and fired a burst into the approaching Dreshi.
Named the gun so it's easier >.>

Th rage of battle ran through Xeo's mind, a clear indication of what the aim is, and the means by which to achieve it.

With a battle cry to wake the dead he surged forward taking out 2 dreshi's at point blank with his gun, and a further 3 with the annihilator.

"proud of me now dad?" he thought

"Marda, fall back, your to wounded to fight effectively!" he shouted as he ran forward into the Dreshi coming back up the hill. The closest to him leaped at De'kren's face, it was met with the blade tip forced through it's mouth into it's skull. He flicked the blade and Dreshi back down the hill as another ran at him, he kicked it since his blade was to high to attack. A sickening crack signified it's neck snapping.
He went back into a ready stance for the next Dreshi.

Karsk is the first to break for the remainder. Knife at the ready, reading their movements moments before they make them, he goes in.
He punches one in the face, followed by an uppercut with his blade. it fell to the floor, bleeding, whilst Karsk used his momentum to slice the stomach of another Dreshi.

Then he got hit. His power is to read minds, so he can only see intentional movements. it seemed that a Dreshi had hit him on its back swing, so he couldn't read that he was about to be hit. "Arghh, Shit that hurt" he tried to get of the floor, but a Dreshi was about to descend on him.

xeo bounded with all his might and smashed the dreshi away with the annihilator

"you ok?" he asked Karsk

"how you doing De'kren?" xeo yelled on the battle field, eager to hear the sound of his old friends voice.

"come on then you mother fuckers!" he screamed as he took out another dreshi with his gun.

As he said that a dreshi came out of no-where and hit him in the side of the head, knocking him dizzy and half conscious.

"ow! Jesus that hurt " he said shortly before losing consciousness

Suddenly the Dreshi standing over Xeo toppled, blood gushing from a wound in its chest. Marda looked over the scope of the rifle she had found in the mud. She was a little rusty with it, but it would suffice. And it was good to handle, after she got ordered to stay due to the damned scratch on her shoulder.

She took down the rest of the beast that were about to descend on Xeo. It appeared he was unconcious. She would watch over him for the time being

"Shit, cover me!" screamed De'kren when he seen Xeo going down, he dragged his friend's body back to behind Wilf and Marda. He ran back upto the front and swung his blade into the first flailing body to cross his bath, he was gripped by a bloodlust.

"De'kren don't do anything stupid!"

"Team,form a perimerter aroun Xeo and finish these guys off!"he shouted as a dreshi fell to his Thunder

Strangled screams erupted from the last Dreshi's throat as De'kren held it at arms length, he stared into the red eye's of the thing, he heard the rattle as it's laugh breath escaped it's lips. He dropped it's body as if it was nothing, emotionless. He turned to the rest of the group, "get fixed up, we're moving out as soon as we can," he grunted, emotion returning into his voice.
He bent down to Xeo and placed his hand on his chest, saying a pray in the forgotten language on his sword and C'frin.

Xeo Slowly starts to regain consciousness, and see's everyone forming a perimeter around him.

"what....what the hell happened" he said as he tried to get back to his feet.

i know passing out doesn't really do anything but i figured i type so much i would give everyone else a break, besides it gave a little twist to the story x3

"Nice of you to rejoin us," smiled De'kren, "you got hit and passed out, the Dreshi are finished off." He helped Xeo up to his feet.

It gave me a reason to strangle a Dreshi and it gave us something to do rather than go RARGH! and kill everything

"cheers, goddamn i missed all the fun" he said while lighting a fag.
"at least i took a couple of the bastards down with me"
He said, walking with the others, feeling nothing but pride about how his team mates helped him out.

I forgot we had a squad with us >.> one of them's a medic so someone can take control over him and get everyone checked out for wounds I'm too lazy to do it >.>

"Soon as the medic fixes up Marda, then we'll get sorted and going into that cave, to sort this shit out," grinned De'kren, as he waved over the squad medic.

Xeo looked at the intense emotion in wilfs eyes and couldn't help but wonder what was hapenning.

" hey man you ok?" he said


The medic look at xeo and all the others and couldn't help being gobsmacked at how resilient they were.
He fixed up Marda "there you go, you should be feeling fine in a few hours"

"WILF!" roared De'kren, from behind him, "we do not wander off on our own! We are a squad! And if you go in there yourself you will be dead within seconds!" He felt his blood boiling, he didn't want another squad member dying, especially not after Tyler..

"Leave me be. I don't need anything." Marda said while jerking her shoulder back. If she got 'taken care of' now she'd be high on drugs for the next hours.

She stood, streched and tossed the rifle away. It had done its purpose. Now it was useless.

"Where's Wilf?" She asked.
