Anyone else gets put under incredible amounts of stress and pass out after about 10 minutes. The machine also seems to respond to input about 3 times faster when used by you," the project leader said. "Keep up the good work," Matt said as looked out over his project.

Lost in Nightmares: Rising Dawn Crew Feat. Yu Narukami Vs. Nyarlatothep

Rugal

There was no works for his relief when Rugal saw that Hercules had failed in his attack, though part of him was wondering how he managed to mess that swipe up.
Still, he then began to cut his way out of the tendrils that had ensnared him before quickly making his way to Slindis's position.
"Don't die on me and I'll even commit myself to a asylum if you want." He said as he quickly fretted over her wound, knowing for a fact it wasn't serious compared to what they normally, but considering it was largely his fault, he was still rather concerned.
"Alright, do you have an potions? I don't wa-" He said before he saw Kalastryn plummet from the sky as she was struck with an ice again.
"No...KALASTRYN!" He shouted as he sprinted over to the trifling's body in time to watch it freeze over before breaking into countless small shards.
"...Yours will not be in vain..." He quietly said as he faced the mass of Nyarlatothep, clearly having enough of his constant mind games.
"WHY WON'T YOU JUST DIE PEACEFULLY ALREADY?!"
"Because you are still alive..." He answered as crossed his arms over his chest as he gathered all his energy into one single massive "KAISER! WAVE!" Before launching it at Nyarlatothep.

While he was doing that, Hercules meanwhile had recovered from the impact of being flung across the room, The slut with blue skin had a really good arm, he had to admit.
Once he was back on his feet, Slin could almost make out a sort of smirk on the Persona, as he if wanted that to happen.
Still, with his fun out of the way, he used his new position to bury a claw into Nyarlatothep's side before repeating the motion to slowly climb up his mass, doing as much damage as possible as he did.

David/Deadshot

It wasn't long before David managed to track Deadshot's position, finding the Merc out cold on the ground from the attack.
"Ah shit. Come on you useless prick, I've lost enough sleep the last time you died." He remarked as he threw his "Friend's" body on his shoulders before shouting "Wanderer! Get me one of those Psycho shots for Deadshot here! Apollo, Cover me and Mel. Mel...Keep up the fine work."
With his orders given, He then began trying to move Deadshot to a location he was less likely to get brutally murdered at, though he did get a glance at Kala's fall as he moved.
"Gah Shit. KALA'S DOWN! Someone get over here!" He ordered, unaware of the lethality of that attack due to other pressing matters.

Apollo meanwhile did their best to counteract the remaining tendrils, though they were forced to take cover when the ice attack rolled in, Apollo especially seeing his weakness was the stuff.
Still, seeing how David was risking his ass for [Null]'s drunken master, [Null] did his best to return the favor by *Allowing* Apollo to use his passed out body as a sort of meat shield, frost bolts striking with little effect on the cold-hearted killer aside from ruining his suit, least until he finally faded.
Apollo was going to get one hell of a cleaning bill for that suit when this was over.

Jenny

Once she was done working though some personal issues via blunt force trauma, Jenny quickly got her head back into the game as she went to see if there was much she could do to assist the others as her own path was cut off.
Seeing Teri about to sink into the darkness, she and Corvus quickly rushed over and began to help Ella cut her loose, clearly Nyarlatothep's mind games were having a dire effect on her.
"Corvus, stay with her until she can be moved. Ella, I want you to-GET DOWN!" She was about to say before the massive wave of Dark type energy began to race for them.
Right on instinct, Corvus quickly moved herself in front of Teri to soak up the damage, seeing how she was more resistant to it.
Jenny quickly did the same with Ella, throwing up a Reflect barrier, though her efforts wasn't [sub]quite[/sub] as successful in nulling the damage as the two of them were knocked back, The pokemon taking the brunt of the blow.
While she took a hard hit, she managed to Endure the brunt of it as she managed to slowly get back up.
"[sub]Ohhhhh that seemed like such a better idea at the time...[/sub] Go, I'm fine...[sub]urg...[/sub]" She managed to say as she moved along the ground to assist Corvus with moving Teri.

The Lone Wanderer.

In reaction to Nyarlatothep's grumbling, The Lone Wanderer began to laugh loudly himself. "Me ... you think you are me?! I don't come from this universe, in my own world, you do not exist, I am the messiah!" The Wanderer said with all of his superiority, standing tall and proud on top of his Persona. Even when the ice started to fall, it snagged the side of the survivor and another took his right arm. Feeling his injuries, Kannon knelt in like-wise pain, the laughing began again, yet the eyes of the man turned red.

"Ahahahahaha ... oh my, God!!!" He spewed from his mouth, along with some blood. "Ahh, ha ... I'm falling apart. I will make sure you are too by the time I pass out." The Crimson Wanderer said with a determined smile, blood pouring out of his openings. Pulling out a stimpak he injected himself to spare himself the pain until after the battle. "God, allow me to survive this time. To not just protect these guys ... but him as well." A quiet sincere voice said before standing out, eyes trying to pierce the enemy.

Standing up along with Kannon, the left eye turned into orange.
Stretching both his arms with open palms, the Wanderer opened his mouth.
"Allow us ...to share the pain." The two mind personalities said in unison

The one body yelled with all of it's might, Kannon the persona's wing detached from the main body. Flying around the area before finally pointing down toward Nyarlatothep, electrical attacks rained down upon him in layers. Seeing his attack done, the Wanderer sighed as he saw Kala before giving a casual salute, then the black quick blots consumed his form and Kannon faded away without his master.

Score two for Nyarlatothep.

Yu Narukami.

Preparing his next Persona just in time, the ice storm rained down. Yet with his current Persona it completely blocked the ice-based attack. Smiling to himself with closed eyes Yu thought, ("Thanks Chie, I'll buy you some steak next time we meet."). Somewhere in his mind he could already hear and picture her clutching her fist in victory, ("Go get em'!"). Raising his head and opening his eyes, Yu just caught the incoming dark attack. Trying to defending himself he hugged his own body, yet it did not stop his body from becoming weak. Kneeling down a voice called ...

"His strength is waning, try to hold on just a little longer! Keep this up, and he can sealed away for a greater amount of time than ever before!"

Placing all his strength and resolve into his legs, Yu barely managed to stay up. "All right Nyarlatothep ... I will show you! THE TRUTH!!!" Yu yelled, his voice projected by his calm mind. Just then the Persona trying to defend him faded away, and a much larger one took it's place. This one looked like Izanagi, his original Persona.

"Izanagi-no-Okami ... the original God of this world!"

"Come on there's a shopping mall I want some new clothes"
"But I Hate shopping for clothes, girls take forever to get fitted. and I always have to hold a purse."
"You've been in the modern world for little more than a week, how could that happen,
"I had to spend two whole days with a teenage girl in Tokyo."
Selena blinked before taking his hand, he reluctantly came along as Selena went to a clothing store.

Selena had another reason for dragging Icarus away from Maka, Icarus had barriers over his soul to hide his true nature from any perception, She noticed it and she could guess why those black wings were a secret, Icarus only partially understood the meaning behind those wings, if someone sensed what was hidden with his soul, he;d be in danger. she knew that feeling all too well being labeled a monster.
"hey Selena your oddly quiet, Did Maka really hurt you? she just doesn't understand-" Selena pulled him into a changing room
"Look Icarus she may hate me but she'll hate you once she learns what you are inside."
"w-what do you mean?"
"She's a demon hunter. What do you think you are? those black wings aren't from an ink accident."
Icarus's eyes widened.

Spoiler: Selena saw a strange vision

"Your a demon Icarus, that's why-"

"-the trident and scepter reacted to you they were tuned into your blood, the blood that turned those wings black as night."
A lock broke loosening some of the chains.

"W-what are you talking about I was born with these wings."
"They may be natural wings, but they were white I can tell because-

"I've checked your feathers everything I examine shows the were initially white but some change provoked them to turn black."
A second lock shattered the chains hung loosely one more and the truth would be set free.

"A-A demon must have just infected me a little a big one attacked me when I was little it injured my sister."
"Then how come your injuries are minor compared to your sisters? whats more the injuries from your sister are different, you told me yourself you had minor bruising like a weapon had stuck you but your sister was hit-

"By human hands and had severe electrical burns the exact injures only you could cause.
the final lock broke and the chains fell limp, Icarus fell to his knees and began to sob into his hands.

and though the Rising Dawn was undergoing the pain of losing their friends. Life goes on elsewhere, their battle unnoticed.

"Oh... I couldn't take your money, at least not without earning it." Maka responded to Violet's offer. "Well... then again, I could be stuck here a while. Is there any way I could pay it back later?" she asked, hinting more at needing a job. She noted that Icarus and Selena had went off without the majority of their group. She actually decided not to pry,[footnote] Religion is mentioned next to none in the soul eater anime, if there even is one in the manga. Not explicitly at the least, so I'm going to assume the position that angels, black winged or otherwise, don't mean much to Maka.[/footnote] with or without soul sight, she just avoided the two of them. If he wanted to pal around with a witch, it'd be his funeral.

Needless to say, she did not hear their conversation.

"Those two actually seem to like each other huh?" she mused. It was more uncommon for anyone to befriend a witch or vice versa, where she comes from, than winding up in another world. Even then, Maka certainly could imagine the two event's likelihood a tie now that one of the following has actually occurred. She can't help but push the though of the other following suit out of her mind. Though she does minutely wonder just how different this place is when it comes to witches.

"Heh, knowing our luck, you'll work it off before you know even it." Violet answered as he quickly went though the hangers and such, not really looking for anything in particular and mostly just for it's own sake.
Still, he didn't answer when Maka asked about Selena and Icarus.
"Hey, so long as they are happy. I'll admit to being more of a "Short term" relations kind of person myself. Quantity has a qaulity of it's own!" He then joked rather lewdly before he got lost in a nice pair of earrings.
Sheesh, this guy was REALLY into this stuff.

Back outside, once everyone was out, the figure finally looked up from his phone before pacing alongside the rear of the limo, stopping to "Tie his shoe" as he placed a small device under the rear bumper before moving on his merry way, tapping away on his smart phone as he did.

To say that Boss saw the intruder would be...entirely untrue. He felt the intruder, like strips of cloth might feel a person passing through them. He felt the intruder kneel down, felt him fiddle around, felt him leave. Boss would have loved to put a TK ticker-as he called it-over the man. It wasn't as though he had a great number of them at the moment, he lost all his tickers. The problem was he didn't know how much he trusted himself to do that without interfering with their day-to-day lives. He only had three floating around at the moment (as opposed to the forty or so he had floating around before) but...he decided to err on the side of caution.

"Hold on, guys." Boss said. "Gotta use the John."

And just like that, he left. Instead, he was standing in front of a mysterious looking man in a large brown overcoat fiddling with a cell phone. "So what did you do to the limo?" Boss asked. "Tracker? Bomb? Hacking do-hickey, maybe? Don't worry; if you play ball with me, I won't tell."

MEANWHILE

"Something's wrong." Edge said.

Violet turned away from the earrings he had been fawning over. "Whadaya mean?"

"I'm not saying that Boss has never used a toilet before..." Edge said. "But he's never announced it. Or at least, he's never announced it and actually done it. He always does something-"

"Incredibly stupid?" Violet asked.

"Incredibly stupid." Edge said. "I'll go find him. You stay here. And don't panic."

" Huh... You sound kinda like my father when you say that..." she says, clearly unimpressed by Violet's philosophy on relationships.

Then they had their stint about Boss doing something...
"Incredibly stupid? I know the feeling, you don't have to worry about me panicking, honest." She says jokingly as she focuses, and activates soul sight to keep an eye on where edge is while he leaves. If she gets any details, she doesn't mean to... but that's not to say she'd ignore them. Even out the doors and through the walls as he turns to his destination, she sees a glow where Edge moves.

The man froze when he realized he was found out by Boss, stopping dead in his tracks as he did.
"...{Excuse me? I do not understand?}" He then said in flawless Japanese, playing the role of the innocent bystander with no knowledge of English, this WAS japan after all.
As he was doing that, his thumb began typing out a message on his phone at lighting speed:

Violet meanwhile was much more focused on what Edge had just revealed.
"...He's never used a toilet in his life?...Huh..." He said as he began to make his way to the check out with a big bag of clothes he couldn't even fit into, He just liked the way they looked on their hangers and wanted them in his closet for that reason alone.
The Cashier meanwhile was checking her phone as she got a text before saying "Will there be anything else, Dr. Violet?".
"Well, I'll admit, I just love what the model in the window is wearing. Can I get that in pink?" The then answered as he failed to notice the cashier pull out a Taser and moving to jam it into his neck.

Boss's smile faded. "You don't know who I am." Boss said. "I get that. So I'll give you another chance."

"{I told you sir,}" the mysterious man said. "{I do not-}"

Boss very carefully found the device the stranger had been fiddling with (his phone) and used his powers to tug it out of the stranger's hand, pulling it to where he was standing and leaving it floating right over his own hand. "Let's play again." Boss said, spinning the phone gently in the air. "What did you put under the limo? And do you have a name, maybe?"

Time: Afternoon

"Just sign the petition, damn it! I've got things to do." The trench coat-wearing dude shoved a petition in front of the bespectacled youth's face, who was currently covering his nose and mouth trying to resist the urge to vomit. The man in front of him practically reeked of urine.

[color=9BBED5]"GET AWAY FROM ME!"[/color] David gave a muffled shout, stepping back into the alley. [color=9BBED5]"I JUST WANT TO GET OUTTA HERE!"[/color]

"Well, I wanna divorce my leech of a wife and leave this hellhole of a town too. As far as I can tell, that won't be happening anytime soon. Sign the fucking petition already, or would you rather it be one your surviving family members?" He stepped forward, pushing the petition once more into the student's face. David's eyes widened as he took another step back, only for his foot to make contact with nothing but a swirling green vortex, which sucked up the poor student within seconds before closing shut with a loud pop.

The dude in the trench coat stood there, staring at the now vacant spot where the kid stood, before uttering a single word.

"Fuck."

Before the cashier could shock the flamboyant doctor, a green portal popped into existence right over the two of them, causing them both to look up at the odd sight. Within seconds of showing up, the portal deposited a youth in a hoodie, who fell bookbag first right on top of the cashier, knocking her and her taser to the floor.
David laid face-up, staring at the ceiling, while the cashier was underneath him, unconscious and sporting a nasty bruise from having a heavy bookbag smack her in the head.

Origin: Avoiding Detention... TO HELL! (defunct RP)

Title: Junior Student at Thenardier's Boarding School For The Extraordinarily Normal

Clothing: A plain-looking grey hoodie, a pair of navy blue jeans, and a pair of faded dress shoes.

Appearance: David stands at a height of 6'0. He has curly, dull black hair, dark brown eyes framed in half-rim prescription glasses, and mildly pale skin. The bottom of his eyes are fairly baggy due to him staying up late reading.

Weapons:
-A hunting bowie knife, as well as an assortment of throwing knives, both were given to him by his father. Mr. Ashworth was quite fond of the knives, having used them to hunt game, by manipulating them after having thrown them. The knives are made of a special metal which is amplified by telekinetic force, causing vibrations which increases their cutting ability.

Items:
-A silver amulet with the Ashworth family crest, passed down the Ashworths for many generations. A small clear crystal is embedded in it's center. If held, one can feel a quiet buzz reverberate inside of their head.

-A bookbag, containing various novels and texts. He keeps his knives in there as well, in a large hollow book which his father made. However, said book was one of David's favorites, and he was quite devastated with the loss of it's contents.

Personality: David is a very kind person, but you wouldn't know that unless you actually talk to him. Unfortunately, many people tend to avoid him, due to his disconcerting appearance, or just ignoring him altogether because of how quiet he is. He is prone to bouts of rage when too much stress is piled upon him. When he is engaged in conversation, he speaks very quickly and quietly, causing most people to misinterpret what he's saying, or just miss what he says completely. He shows a great love for literature, spending most of his time in his school library. Since he started going to Thernadiers, he has been emulating the various personae of characters from the many books he reads. He tends to take on the more "cocky, heroic" roles, though he does dabble in others. He considers it a bad habit.

Backstory: David was born into a rich family. But the Ashworths aren't your typical, haughty and pompous rich family. No, the Ashworths are quite (in)famous for it's psychics. Every first-born in the Ashworth family had shown incredible mental abilities including, but not limited to: telepathy, telekinesis, levitation, mind control, etc. However, this didn't seem to be the case with David. He showed none of the amazing powers of his predecessors before him.
His parents, being extremely proud of their heritage, were not pleased. They tried everything they could to get David's powers to surface, but none of them worked. Whenever they weren't forcing him to partake in various mental exercises and tests, he holed himself inside the family library, reading whatever it had to offer, and blocking out any social contact. Of course, this had the adverse effect of making him rather awkward in dealings with others.
In a last ditch effort to get David's powers to show, they sent him to Thenardier's Boarding School For The Extraordinarily Normal, in hope of unlocking his true potential. So far, there have been no success, though he has been making progress with his social skills.


Powers/Skills:
-David's powers had awakened during his short adventures with the AA crew, though he is still very inexperienced with them.

-Being taught by his father, he is greatly skilled at the use of a knives, both for close combat situations and thrown, as well as using mind powers to gain more of an edge in their use. However, he'd rather not use them to begin with, and avoid fighting altogether.

-He is a mildly skilled pugilist, having practiced it as an alternative to his lack of psychic abilities. He is also much more likely to resort to this as opposed to his knives.


Weakness:
-Poor in most social situations.

-Doesn't handle well under stress.

The man clearly seemed rather nervous now as Boss kept pressing for answers, He could see the sweat beading down his forehead as he slowly backed up.
However, his phone went off as it got a message:

A loud beeping began to fill the air as the figure began to make a break for it, running out of the way as the device he planted on the limo exploded.

Back inside the store, David unwillingly saved Violet's ass as he landed on the Cashier, though Violet himself was more suprised at the sudden teleport and STILL didn't notice the fact that she had tried to taze him.
"...So *THATS* what they look like...huh..." He said before he went over the counter to help him up.
"Looks like someone was messing around with teleportation technology without reading the manual. Hm?" He said as he went to help David up.
"Welcome to Tokyo. I'm Dr. Vio-"
The introductions were cut short as their ride outside was blown the fuck up, prompting him to shout "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHWHATTHEHELLWASTHAT?!" before cowering behind Maka.

"Of course it was a bomb." Boss said as people started the running and screaming schtick. "No one understands subtlety."

The trenchcoat-wearing stranger quickly found himself bouncing off of an invisible wall. "I honestly can't believe you did that." Boss said, walking up to the stranger. "Do you see these people? Any one of them could have died. And you would have been the person responsible." Boss shook his head and walked back to the store. "Don't go anywhere."[footnote]For the record, Boss has the stranger trapped in a 4x7x7 cube of telekinetic force. Trenchcoat man couldn't go anywhere if he wanted to.[/footnote]

Squelches any flame immediately and in its entirety.

Twenty feet away, Edge put out the flames surrounding the limo with a glance. How did that happen?

"A miscreant planted a bomb on the limo." Boss said, walking back to the store. Pointing his thumb at the trenchcoat guy, he said. "I've got him trapped in a box."

Edge nodded. "You go up high, I'll check on the others."

Boss nodded, and floated up in the air. Edge ran back in the store. "Everyone alright?"

The green portal opening above the cashier and Violet was enough to take Maka's attention off of Edge's location for a moment. As Mr. Ashford knocked out Violet's would-be assailant, she thought. (Wow... this really is an everyday thing? I thought they were being sarcastic!)

She then snapped back into soul sight just in time for the bomb to go off. As Violet used her as cover, she could see someone fleeing the source of the bang. Even though it was through a wall, it wasn't far enough away not to get a relative position.

"I'm fine, but let me guess..." She said, looking at Edge as he ran through the door.

"We're taking the shoe-leather express from here on out?" She asks with a sigh.

The Bomber himself meanwhile trashed in vain as he tried to escape, clearly this wasn't going as planned...

He glanced at the odd man before shaking his head and muttering to himself.[color=9BBED5]"I'm getting rather tempted to just bash my own head in until I forget all of this dimension-hopping nonsense.

"So what is it now, dare I ask?"[/color] David turned to look at the current occupants of the room, his eyes twitching, and an uncharacteristically large smile on his tired face. [color=9BBED5] "Zombie apocalypse? Goblin invasion? Evil wizards plotting to summon some horrible, world-devouring beast? Secret government agencies trying to take control of the world's population? Please, I'm dying to know what absurdity's in store for me here."[/color]

Maka glares at Violet, clearly unimpressed at his outburst. "Look, I wasn't complaining. If I were going to complain about anything, it'd be the entire situation I'm in right now, not just the lack of a car. The Trenchcoated man was still trying to escape, pulling out a knife from his leg and using it in an attempt to break out the box that he was in while Violet began making his way over, ears still ringing.
"You! What was the big idea?!"
"..." The man didn't answer as he kept trying to escape the box.
"Silent treatment, huh? Alright, I'll get it from you yet. Sorry, just...Toyko is not normally this "Active" you know?" He sighed as he addressed both Maka and David, having something to say about the latter's comment.
"Relax, you're in a mostly safe militarized Japan. The year is 2014 and once we're done here, I can help you get home if you let me. Sound good?"

"Alright, I'll admit I've not done many interrogations before... but if this doesn't loosen your lips... I don't know what will..." She started saying somewhat nonchalant at the stranger in the trenchcoat, as she brushed past Violet and the rest of them. As she nears the box the stranger is kept in she looks him in the eyes with a rather grim expression on her face.

It wouldn't take any trained eyes to see what type of scare tactic she was going for, as scythe-like blades formed out of her forearms from nowhere, extending past her fists. Well, she didn't want to have to show the rest of them that particular thing about her for a while... but hopefully the scare tactic will get him to speak on the matter.

"Now, your going to answer the good Doc's questions. If we find out your lying, or you just don't feel like answering, I will cut you to ribbons and swallow your FUCKING soul. Believe me, I have the capacity to do exactly that..." She says, her tone with a hint of anger, but mostly a sort of ominous contempt.
