Two heroes, steeped in lore, one struggling to (un)live up to his legend and one who couldn't care less about it. Chief could handle the ranged attackers, Dan can fight well at melee, and both of them have a wide arsenal and can tank hits pretty well. They'd be on the battlefield for a long time, and could really do some damage
