"As always, we're looking for the best of the best."

damn it I though I´d get a decent job with my half-assed slacker skills.

but honestly, how stupid is that expression.

Question that came to mind - when writing a cover letter, is there any individual in particular that we should be addressing it to?

I'd love to apply, but I'm only fifteen.
I live in freaking South Carolina too, so I could easily move.
Dammit.

When's the deadline for applicants?
That's what I wanna know. I sent in my application two days ago, and I'm a nervous wreck waiting on this.

I have nothing going on, and I'm a huge geek with a lot of opinions who loves attention. Sign me up. Also this might be unprofessional but this is post number 69 for me. High fives? No. Aww

Way to almost distract me with the photo of Nathan Fillion, guys. Well played, but not well enough! I read your posting!

If this had come up a couple of months ago, I would have totally gone for it... DX

You guys should have someone to cover speculative fiction literature. The original escapism.

I posted my application for this too, because fuck it - I've always wanted an excuse to move to America, I love the escapist and I have an English degree so I have bugger all else going on at the moment.

I don't think I get it, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Too bad I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, don't have a car, and can't take a full time job! It's like I"m so close, but too far away! And I really need a job! REAL bad!

I've got friends out in Raleigh. I guess I can send my puny resume. Always looking for a change from the SF landscape.

Editor-in-Chief would be a safe choice.

There isn't one. But considering it's a job application, punctuality is appreciated. We're going to do our best to respond to everyone in a timely manner, but be forewarned that we've had a lot of applicants, and getting back to everyone will take time. Stay tuned!

You will be hearing from my lovely wife. As soon as I saw this, I sent her a text about it. I don't think I've ever been savaged through the phone quite like that. She is an English Major who has been published in table-top gaming books for story lines. We live on the east coast, up in Pennsylvania and I hate the cold. A shift south would be a wonderful change. You'll be hearing from her soon!
