Forgot to add in my previous post that, while dubstep has been around for a while, the newest trend of it, "brostep", is sadly what's becoming popular. And I say sadly because it is utter shit.

Compare this fantastic, classic-style dubstep song:
With this brostep garbage:
If you can appreciate the difference, you'll understand why it's so sad.

Some of it is okay. It's definitely not my favourite genre of music, not even close.

The song you linked OP, was one of the best I have heard so far. Mostly because of the vocals, I admit, but a good song overall.

I quite like it for no good reason really. It's just kinda cool.

I like the *wub wub wub wub wub wub wub*ness of it.

dubstep is actually insanely popular in Manitoba (Canada), and I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it a lot, too. my favorite artist right now only has 13 tracks as of now, check him out:

I think dubstep alone does not work. It's rather an effect than a real style of music, you have to add other elements to keep it interesting. There are some really bad examples, some good but it still feels like dubstep is yet to be defined. It feels like dubstep was foreced to become it's own genre, because there is no real other progress in music but to use robo voices in pop tracks?
Something that I think is dubstep (or simular) and I really like is this:
I would also post Cardopusher - Homeless, but the original is nowhere to be found ...

I've only enjoyed two dubstep songs so far, Chrispy - FYD and Nero-innocence. Haven't looked too much into the genre tho.

Personally I'm really into it at the minute, not so much Nero and Flux Pavilion, but SBTRKT and Noisia too name a few.
Right thing to do - SBTRKT [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmV0gWzp9PQ]
Exodus - Noisia. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDS872M9Y9c]
The second track has a superb video may I add.

Forgive me, but I just had to post this:

OT: I don't mind it, but I don't like it either. I don't actively listen to it.

Although it does go well with racing games.

It's ok, but not fantastic. I liked that recent collaboration Skrillex did with Korn, but not much other than that.

In America there's almost a cult following.

Favorite song:
Never heard it before, so beast. But did Youtube kill the bass in that song? I'm using some decent stuff and for something with bass that's supposed to be there, it wasn't at all.
