OMG everyone at my high school was obsessed with SF II. There was a kid who kept running around shouting "I am Ryu! Hadooken!" (or whichever character said that) and then laughing like a donkey.

I just looked that up on wikipedia, it says it had 6 degrees of freedom. How on earth did you control 6 degrees of freedom? Did you need a flight stick to play it?

Also apparently people got motion sickness from it Take it that didnt affect you

First game I ever played would be Pitfall 1 on the neighbor kids bigscreen. The game that got me hooked for life though, would be Might and Magic 2 on a Tandy 1000 SX. Think Oblivion with the graphics of Etrian Odyssey for those of you more modern folks
