Probably Pac Man or Mrs. Pac Man...though the first game I fell in love with was Bubble Bobble.

I should look for a way to play that again sometime...
Bubble Bobble was great! I think I had that on the Amiga. Wasnt there a sequel, something about rainbows?
Wow, well, apparently they've tried continuing Bubble Bobble on all the way up to the DS (though apparently that version has the original bubble bobble and a 'new' version which not only sucks, but also has a bug that keeps you from going past level 30 out of 100...Rainbow Island looks like the PS version, btw.

I guess I'll just hold onto my childhood memories of playing through to the top, impossible levels w/ my Dad.

I think it was frogger or Spyro on the PS1. Then I saw my dad playing quake 3: revolution for PS2 and thought it looked fun. Hardcore bloody kill rampages are what I was raised on, and I have absolutely no psychological disorders other than a very dark sense of humour. Maybe it's why I kick ass at most Id FPS games.
Also, first COMPUTER game was like a point and click adventure about that disney movie Dinosaurs. First computer game I actually finished was Quake 2, around a year ago. I've just now started PC gaming, although I've had about 12 PC games between That dinosaur game and Robot alien zombie killfest 2, but never finished them. Partly because I didn't like point and click which was most of them, and partly because they have glitches.

Some game that was like a deer hunter, but you hunted dinosaurs, you had a trophy room and all, the major flaw in the game was for some abstract reason you had to shoot T-Rexs in the eyes to hurt them, but if someone remembers the name of that game tell me!
Carnivore.
Defintaly not Carnivore 2 cause T-rex had now been able to be headshots.
YES that sounds right thanks I have some nostalgia to rediscover!

I think it was one where I had to type words quickly enough to save a lil' man in a spaceship. In between levels he'd jump out and moonwalk.

Needless to say I can type 88 to 95 wpm still.
Lol that sounds fun :) Was that another edutainment thing? It would be cool if it taught you to moonwalk too ...

Then Maze on yahoo lol.

Then it was some disney platformer, and some random racing game.

After that, i got Quake III Arena. ^.^ Then it came to Duke Nukem: Mahattan Project, then i found Morrowind.
Blimey thats incredible detail. You must have a photographic memory or something :)

Freddi Fish...

The first REAL game I played was Star Trek Armada, if I remember correctly. Aah, good times.
LOL Freddi sounds like a respectable place to start :)

That would be either Bugs Bunny Lost in Time on my PC or Street Fighter 2 over at a friend.
OMG everyone at my high school was obsessed with SF II. There was a kid who kept running around shouting "I am Ryu! Hadooken!" (or whichever character said that) and then laughing like a donkey.

Ahhh memories ...

The Descent series ITS STILL THE BEST GAME
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent_(video_game)
I just looked that up on wikipedia, it says it had 6 degrees of freedom. How on earth did you control 6 degrees of freedom? Did you need a flight stick to play it?

Also apparently people got motion sickness from it :D Take it that didnt affect you :)

I think it was either Lego Island, Lego Racers, Sonic & Knuckles, ReVolt, or Rayman.

Yay for mixed up games.

Something on the Atari. Don't know what. Let's say Combat.
Harassing my little brother on that game was my kind of priceless.
