while its not a great game in of its self, the Disc World game for the Psone was halarious. If your not familar with the books think of the Disc World as Lord of the Rings meets Monty Python. Its a fantasy world infused with wacky but clever humor.
The Disc World game is a point and click game that does a great job of nailing the source material.
I actually didn't know Disc World was based off a book series until years after i played the game and the moment i found out i bought the first book, The Color of Magic, which features the same protaganus as the game.
As i said before the game isn't so great. its easy to get lost and most of the solutions are really hard to figure out by just using logic. For example, before you can begin your quest you have to wake up your walking luggage and the only way to do it is to poke it with a broom. none of this is explained to you. The only way you'll figure out you need the luggage is because your character can only hold 4 items.
despite its short commings i couldn't stop laughing while i played it and the main character is voiced by Eric Idle which doesn't hurt.
