Portal 2 is great for the funny dialogue. I like clever writing.
When it comes to plain slapstick, Castle Crashers. Or play Magika with a group of right minded friends. There's a reason you learn how to resurrect each other almost right off the bat.

I don't want to list all the games that have been mentioned here, I agree to most of them being very funny. I'd like to add two games that a normal person wouldn't probably think as humorous games but Amnesia: The dark descent and Penumbra: Overture (the only penumbra game i have) have some really grim and dark but hilarious humour. Most of it did not open to me before the second or third time I played them because of the horribleness of both games. I hope somebody else can agree so I'm not a complete psycopath

Agreed although I have only played the PS2 version not the original adventure games unfortunately. As mentioned Monkey Island is up there only speaking for the first one though as thats all I have played. Disgaea 4 was also quite amusing well all of them are but I think Disgaea 4 keeps it up better throughout.

On a side note the demo for Asuras Wrath kept me quite amused with its ridiculousness but obviously I cant judge the game yet to see if this continues throughout.
