If I go right, I have the mesh case for my wireless mouse. Go a little further and a I have a hard backed book, which forms my working diary. Useful stuff, though in the event of a zombie apocalypse, BT would probably see fit to have the phones working for a change.
In the left hand, I can quickly grab the petty cash tin, which has about £10 in small change. That should help in some way.
If I can fight to the door, I can get the umbrella or a bread knife from the kitchenette. You're not going to be silly enough to fight off wave after wave of zombies with just the first weapon you grab, are you?

The item directly to my right is now my weapon of choice? Oh well, I'm totally screwed, because that item is my small plastic binder with the references to Oblivion maps, trainers, spells, and stores. So yeah, was nice knowing you guys, I'm done for. ^_^
