I saw some other reviews and reading the comments. Most of them were saying it's barely close to the source material, The dialogue is very bad and the 3D was poor. It was a last minute idea. And when you think about it...this was a risky thing to do. Making 20 episodes into a 2 hr movie.
I didn't want to watch it in 3D anyway, so it's not a big deal for me. Too many movies add 3D at the last minute to try to make extra money from it, so if the 3D is bad, it's not a deal breaker for me.
Good point
Bad Dialogue you say? Isn't Twilight full of that? Yet still, it got a 50%, a 27% and a 52%... Really now.
Yep. Strange isn't it? But then again...I've seen some great movies with terrible dialogue. Whatever...I'm still gonna see it after moviebobs review.
I'm still going to see it, if it is really that bad, I will write a review of it on the Escapist..
However, as for sticking to the source material, some artistic liberties would have to be taken. How close does it stick to the source material? We will have to see for ourselves.
That we do
Did you see the last Harry Potter movie? It was so far off from the story, yet millions of people loved it. They focused waaaaaaaay too much on the love story and not enough on the actual story.
