It wasn't an ideal situation. Risking life and limb to save people who could never repay him. Levitas let out a loud sigh, droplets of rain dripping of the hood of his cloak. He tore his cloak off revealing a pale face framed with pristine silver hair which dangled just past his chin. Levitas studied the situation with his piercing silver eyes. Allies running franticly to be heroes, a monster killing random people, it was all very messy.

"Selfish is my middle name Grimm." Levitas said in a lethargic tone. He did not actually have a middle name but that was unimportant.

Strolling towards the monster slowly, Levitas knelt down briefly to steal the sword of a wounded man. Holding it by the tip of the handle, he spun 360 degrees before throwing the blade at the Hydra's chest. The sword, having kinetic energy transfered into it, flew through the air at a speed that would make most arrows look slow.

"I've done my part" Said Levitas as he stretched and let out a yawn. He did not actually feel tired, he never did, the yawn was just him showing everyone else that he thought this was a waste of time.

The Hydra couldn't see, so the arrow flew true into it's neck, and the sword rammed hard into it's chest. It just made it through the scales and the beast fell, slamming straight into the ground and having a face full of mud. As it slid through the ground a little, Zero poked his head up. "He's dead? Well that was easy...". He started to push the water off of his chest, and then it began twitching again. "So it's not quite dead?" he said as he moved closer.

As he poked it's face to see if it was dead, it's eye opened and it hissed at him. Zero squealed a little and kicked the beast in the eye, before running back away from it, "Why did I leave my sword behind!" he called out as he ran from the beast pushing itself off of the ground, "Someone just cut of it's head!" he called out as he searched the Battle field for any form of sharp object he could use as a weapon.

Eve saw her comrade flee from the beast. After a quick prayer, she began sprinting towards the beast. With the magnified power in her legs, she launched herself towards the beast, stretching her blade even longer and aiming it at the small patch of bare skin visible from above.

The beast tried to stand up on its four legs but before it could do so, Eve fell to the ground, her Blade cutting the flesh of the beast. When Eve turned around she faced the beast once more, its head dangling from its long neck, a small piece of skin and muscle holding it together.

Eve feels dizzy. 'I need to rest now' she mumbles to herself. Eve retracts her blade back to her blood stream. The skin heals in a few moments but a scar remains on her forearm. "Finish it off while I tend to my hand" Eve cries out to the rest of the group.

Grimm was shocked as the woman who wasn't even sure of her reasons for entering the fray, burst past him like an uncontrollable wind.
Did I convince her to help?
Grimm watched as she launched at the beast lacerating a gaping hole in the hydra, however after her gallant strike of the beast, she seemed to collapse into the mud beneath the crippled creature.
Shit
Grimm focused the shadows to the heels of his feet and used them propel him forward in one great leap. His charcoal grey cloak bellowing in the wind behind him.
His shadow garbed claws sank deep into the beasts side in his descent. His landing was less than graceful, as he went tumbling into the ground after his massive blow to the beast.
The Hydra wobbled, head dangling, blade in chest and now a deep diagonal gash along it's side.
Grimm raised his head slowly and saw the collapsed woman a short distance from him.
"So you decided to help." Grimm stated cheerily, The smile on his face fully drawn.

Blue Wrath was watching the fight and fidgeting "Damn it i can't fight like this with so much rain i'll kill Grimm and Eve with that damn Hydra" he said in an annoyed voice. "i could fry that thing if they weren't in the way" he said as Sparks Flew around him.

Levitas crossed his arms as he watched the carnage play out. With no chance of reward his interest in the battle slowly sunk to minimal and he would only assist further if the battle took a turn for the worse. He did not have any emotional attachment to these people. They were not his friends, they were just colleagues and if one fell it may hurt the success of his "business". He lent his back against a near by tree and tossed a small stone before catching it over and over again.

"If you could wrap this up quickly it would be appreciated," Levitas yelled to the others, "Better yet let's leave and let these worthless mortals deal with they own damn problems".

Eve stood up from the mud and screamed. Her massive legs propelled her body out a few hundred meters away from the skirmish. Sitting down, she began transforming back. The bone in her pinky on her left arm grew back while her sharp fang disappeared. Her legs began twitching as muscles teared and grew back in her left arm. For some reason her pain felt more blunt than earlier.

A few minutes passed, but the pain was still excruciating. Staring at the corpse that was once the hydra, Eve cursed her impulsiveness. "You better check if it's dead" she shouted at Zero. She stood up, examining her new scar proudly, 'At least I have SOMETHING to show for this' she mumbled to herself.

<spoiler=Gypsy guy>Heh, whoops. Forgot that someone had electricity as powers... I'll just stop that rain...

Zero walked over to the Hydra, throwing away a pointy stick he had just picked up, "Aww, and I just found something nice and sharp" he said as he walked over towards it. It twitched again and he jumped back, making a defensive position. "Oookay then..." he said as he again began moving towards it. As it started to twitch again, he didn't move, and as he was about to touch it, 2 head rocketed out of the old hole.

"Ooookaaaay" Zero responded again. The newly formed heads seemed stronger than before, and were snapping with double the annoyance. "My stick!" He called out as he ran to grab the sharp stick he had just found. He picked it back up and ran towards the monster as it started to stand back up. His eyes began to haze over, and his arms and hands began to glow a dark purple. The energy from his hands moved into the log and when he rammed it into the beasts side, it pierced straight through the scales, and he gripped it tightly, "This should stop his head from coming back, kill it now!" he called out as he again ran away from the best as it's head snapped back at him, trying to catch the fleeing prey.

As the Hydra roared, the rain began to trickle down to nothing, until it stopped completely. The lightning and thunder still roared in the sky, but the raining had at least a temporary reprieve.

A thought just popped into my head, would the hydra count as an animal because if it does I could just absorb it, or is it going to be that mythical creatures aren't affected by my power? your choice GM I just need to know that before posting

Grimm lifted himself out of the mud, the shadows melting away from his hands into the 2 dimensional plain from which they were summoned.

As he rose he dusted the grime off of his long grey hooded cloak. He flipped his hood back to reveal his face. His face was framed by messy dark hair, his eye's a deep emerald green and skin as pale as Levitas'.

"Thanks Lev', If you hadn't of distracted him with that blade I might have leaped right into it's fang lined gob"

As Grimm walked past Levitas towards the rest of his comrades he clasped his shoulder warmly.

"Also, When did the Levitas have middle names?" Grimm questioned jokingly.

This introduction was short lived as in the background the slain beast rose form the dead sprouting a second ghastly serpentine head from it's once gaping wound. Grimm Slammed his fist into the ground commanding the shadow's of the storm to attack the beast.

Shadows gathered under the creature while it was being pinned by Zero, with one command Grimm commanded a sharpened pillar of the same shining black material to burst upwards from below the hydra.

Grimm collapsed to the floor much like Eve had done earlier, His head was pounding form the strain of using his ability.

I didn't know I could control that much darkness

The Hydra not wasting any time, continued to charge forwards, the thorn in his side a distant memory as he ran towards the group. The pillar rose up and sliced clean off his tail, but he continued charging forward, one head still in the air, the other reaching forward, to to swallow Grimm whole.

Eve walks on her now normal legs, moving her left hand around to restore its performance. She walks towards the other group of men. Before she could leave she hears the beast roar again, an object ledged in its chest. Eve sees A hooded man on the floor, struggling to stand up.

She walks towards him slowly, her feet adjusting to their new size. To her surprise the monster begins charging at the hooded man. Without the enhanced speed, Eve couldn't get there in time, so she again sacrifices a pinky finger from her left arm and creates a fang in her tooth, cutting her fingertips on her right hand.

She stands firmly in place with her hand pointed at the beast, a small sphere of blood in each fingertip begins to form. After a few brief moments she shoots the beast with her compressed blood pellets hitting its right leg, (*making it trip on its foot and fall on the floor* - Should I remove this segment?). Eve suffers a loss of blood, but she managed to get herself to the hooded man before the beast could stand up again.

"Can you stand?" Eve asks the hooded man.

Levitas raised his eyebrow as Grimm touched his shoulder with muddy hands. He quickly brushed all mud off with his own hand, he hated getting dirty. He watched as people continued to collapse during their foolhardy attempts at heroics. This bothered him, he was now forced to intervene.

"I think you're doing it wrong, unless collapsing is part of some great plan," Yelled Levitas as he dashed towards Grimm and Eve.

Charging his arms with super heat as he ran, Levitas leaped at the head that was going for Grimm. After grabbing the head with both arms, the Hydra let out a cry of pain. As Levitas squeezed his arms began to melt through the scales and flesh. With one final pull the head was severed and left behind a chard wound.

What's auto-hitting?
you mean I can't automatically hit the creature?
I just didn't want it to eat tobi, which wears the hood.
But on the other side the crooked halo already stopped it.
Should I edit it?

<spoiler=IronRuler>Heh, I would appreciate not auto hitting... If it's something small you can but since this isn't really an NPC (i'm controlling it) I would prefer it not to get killed by you and then easily tripped by you...
Also, who is this hooded guy?

Adam was going through his drawers looking for pieces of his armour, 'come on, come on they have to be hear' when he suddenly heared a thud. he left leaned out of his window to check what it was and saw the hydra headless on the ground 'idiots!' he shouted from the window don't they know never to behead a hydra, well they'll learn the hard way in a momment.

after searching through the last drawer he wound his gauntlet and rushed into his kitchen, which was filled with upside down bowl containing different animals, slughe thought in a stroke of genius he picked up a bowl with a slug in it, he grabbed the slug as it merged with his flesh. His bones and flesh were replaced with a slug like body but still keeping the humanoid shape.

He then rushed out of his house he saw the hydra lying on the ground, he ran straight towards it and grabbed its jaw and started to try and open it, the hyrda then in one swift movement bite down on Adam, this badly damaged his armour but thanks to his slug flesh the hydra was un-able to chew him, 'don't... worry...I have...a plan' he shouted out from the hydra's mouth.

Fuam grinned at the sight of the battle and quickly ran through the muddy battlegrounds towards the hydra. He stopped short and took a deep breath before letting out a sonic scream which he directed at the heads nearest him before raising his voice and directing the sonic blast towards the beast's mid-section, trying to push the beast back or at least provide a decent distraction.
