I'll second Ornstein and Smough. I just killed them in New Game +1, by God that's a huge difficulty jump! They just totally kick my ass, burning through some +10 armour like a hot knife through butter.

The second boss in Pandora's Tower. I was almost out of time when I finished it, besides that I haven't really fought any hard bosses recently.

You mean Dark Souls.
And yes, they're mean, but backup goes a long way to making that fight manageable.
OT: I downed that son of a ***** Ur-Dragon in Dragon's Dogma, online.
Fuck me, that felt good.

About a week or two ago I beat Gwyn using a divine Zweihander. Good fun.

Had a lot of trouble with Lohain from Dragon Age last I played for some reason... I never did before... probably because I was on a harder dificulty with a diferent mage skill set... magic tree is lopsided and makes them pretty much the most powerful skill tree in the game... but I wanted to be different and specialized in spirit magic... so I guess that's why...

Though I played Dragon Age 2 ad beat that no problem... because one of the templar skills literally stun locks 90% of the enemies in the game...<.<

Not quite as rediculous as being able to beat pretty much every enemy in the game with a mage maxed out on the elemental skill tree, that rain of fireballs attack kills EVERYTHING.

Seath the Scaleless from Dark Souls was my last hardest boss. Everything since him (in Dark Souls and other games) have been pretty easy to be honest.

I'd have to say the final boss(es) of Vanquish on hard... each bogey is so fast and powerful, it takes a great deal of concentration to keep an eye on what both are doing while dealing with the constantly changing cover. Pretty tough.

Master Eraqus on Proud Mode in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

Compared to Terra, he might as well be flipping Sonic the Hedgehog. The guy's too damn fast!

Ultraxxion on Heroic mode on WoW.

Haven't even defeated it yet but got it down to 1% HP last time so I'll count that as a dead one.

Just wish my fucking team could get better so that I didn't have to bloody boost them through.

The second fight with Vergil in Devil May Cry 3. It was a fun back and forth battle the whole way with both of us beating the crap out of each other and then using devil trigger to regain health. That's probably my favorite fight in the whole game too, calling it epic would be an understatement.

Man, try it on "Godhard". It's too macho for words. Toughest play-through I've ever faced, and I loved every minute of it.

I've been away for a couple of days so I've been playing through FF4DS again. Last night I had to fight the CPU. I swear whoever made that boss was in the worst possible mood.

Also, before the fight, Fusoya tells you to take out the defense node as a priority. Players who don't know that this fight's coming will get absolutely destroyed if they go for the defense node first. It's almost like the mistranslation in FF7 where Barret tells you to attack while the Scorpion Guard's tail is up except this time it was put in deliberately.

Fixed. :3 And they do get easier in later playthroughs when you start getting used to fighting multiple enemies. A little tip though, try to take Ornstein out first. He is the faster and generally more dangerous one. Smough just kinda hulks around and occasionally does a ground pound or two but is generally easier to dodge.
OT: The 4 Kings in Dark Souls. Ridiculously easy in your first playthrough but once you hit your second or third playthrough you will be losing many, many souls to those motherfuckers.

Not really a boss, but the area at the end of Halo reach where you fight numerous high-ranking Elites. Not fun with only one person with you on Legendary. Thankfully, I had a shotgun, but one of them had an energy sword.

Also, staying alive when in the cannon at the end was pretty tough.

Other then that, the last hard boss I fought was trying to get Marlburg to stay to fight me in the Rome mission in Alpha Protocol (Tip: SUAVE. Also, meet SIE, become friends with her and be non-stealthy).
