Devil Kings its a ps2 game that is a not bad ripoff of Dynasty Warriors and the only reason i noticed it is because of the capcom logo on it and the font looked like Devil May Cry

Another World on the Mega Drive (probably familiar to retro enthusiasts)

The four original .hack games for PS2. After I bought them I've hardly seen them anywhere plus I seem to be the only person I know who's played them.
I've heard of and seen copies of .hack but I'm not too into jrpg's

For Australia id have to say Ys Seven and Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky both on psp .. but they are both good quality RPG's.. even if YS is a bit more action RPG/Dungeon Crawler

The Suffering. It's a surprisingly good horror/shooter. And I've never met one person who's heard of it.
well i have heard of "the suffering" for PS2 and "the suffering: ties that bind" for PS2 and i played the second one.

Okage: Shadow King - it's a quirky early PS2 era JRPG about a demon shadow that possesses people and takes over their shadow... or something. it's really interesting. not that great, but the quirkiness and humor are pretty good. picked it up at gamestop for $5. only ever seen it twice.
Odin Sphere - at least.. it was obscure and unavailable anywhere until it was recently put on the PSN...
Grim Grimoire - see above..
Threads of Fate - see above..again..
Suikoden - see above..again..again.. I'm sensing a theme here.
every PS2 MegaTen game with the exception of Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha Vs. the Soulless Army
Ar Tonelico 1-3 - one of the greatest JRPG franchises that almost nobody knows about. and if they do, it's probably for the wrong reasons.
Atelier Iris 1-3
Mana Khemia 1-2
Atelier Rorona
Atelier Totori
Soul Nomad and the World Eaters
Growlanser: Generations
MS Saga: A New Dawn
La Pucelle: Tactics
Makai Kingdom
Shadow Hearts 1-2 - had 3, but it was a stain on the name of the series, and I had to sell it.

ok, sick of typing. pretty much most of my games are a "take your pick" of obscurity. but the best games are obscure ones.

I'm gonna up you all with one title... Beyond the limit: Ultimate Climb, released by Microsoft. Search it up on youtube, and you will get one whole video related to it. (Try for just Beyond the limit, and you find nothing). Only one video of the game is available on youtube. It has earned its place in the collection of obscure games.

By the way, it is indeed a climbing simulator where you meet bears and snakes and ride through caves in mining carts. Here's the one video you will find of it. It's its commercial.

Much less obscure is Bad Mojo, but at the same time it's also much better. You play as a guy who gets tranformed into a cockroach. Then you have to survive in an extremely nasty environment. The game's fantastic, and still pretty obscure. I figured it might at least be mentioned here.

....

Disney's Classics 3-games-in-one DVD with Toy story 1, Timon & Pumbaa Burper and Donald in Cold Shadow.
Oh my god, they released a 3-in-1 version? That's such a deal! I used to love Toy Story and Cold Shadow (...I STILL love Cold Shadow, actually; it's such a fantastic game.) I never got Timon & Pumba. I tried it, but it didn't seem as good as the others. Was it?

Also I'm amazed that some people consider games like Psychonauts, Odinsphere, King's Quest and Ikaruga obscure in any shape or form. I'm not being condescendent here, mind you, only surprised. Most people posting have some pretty obscure games though.

@Aiden Raine: I've been thinking about trying out Grim Grimoire for ages. It looks like a more layered and complex version of Swords and soldiers! It's well worth the price on PSN, i presume?

I'll tell you the tagline for one,and the combat mechanic for the other.

"Evil is good."

And additions. They could've changed RPG combat forever. Shame it never got much exposure.

If you guess those without google, then I guess my titles aren't very obscure.

Also, third title. Chromehounds. Great mecha game. Shame the servers got yanked.

Hitogata Happa. It's on Steam, but I'm the only person I know, in meatspace or on the Internet, who owns it. Word of warning: it's bloody hard. Even on the lowest level, I doubt most people will ever beat the first boss.

Evil is good is from Dungeon Keeper :D. I'm heartbroken that Bullfrog never got a third one out before they went under, I remember seeing a tease in DK2. Think about how great it would've been.

WHAT?!? I thought I was different...

What would you consider obscure, fine sir/madam?
Try this.

It's called "Gubble", and is best version of Pacman to ever exist. Period.

Basically, you avoid enemies while taking the world apart with garage tools with absolutely ADORABLE gibberish and really challenging bonus levels.

oh yea, have that one too. it's available on PSN, plus the two other games somehow connected to it(?) Gundemoneum: Recollection and Gundeadligne which are both much better then Hitogata Happa is.

incidentally, I also beat the first boss, but I don't think I got anywhere near the second one.

/digs through my old boxes of Amiga floppies. Elite 2 Frontier? That is one of the most unplayable games I've ever seen, but maybe not exactly obscure...

How about this?

Metal Arms: Glitch in the System for both the PS2 and XBOX. (The latter I got off of XBOX LIVE because the PS2 copy got glitched up.)

That's a Crystal Castles clone, not Pac-man.
