Paprika by Satoshi Kon. I finally got around to buying that dvd to show my respect for him (RIP). I just regret for not watching it sooner, it was really good! although the dvd was really cheap since it been out for ages.

Most recently released or most recently seen?

Assuming you mean the latter, I saw Heavenly Creatures a little while ago. Amazing movie, definitely one of Peter Jackson's best.

Red Gate. I love Three Kingdoms history, and its by far the best movie of the period I've ever seen.

And Crows Zero 1&2. So badass.

Toy Story 3. It was like Pixar recorded my childhood and tailored the movie to hit each and every one of my nostalgic, emotional buttons. I never cried in any movie before, but this one reduced me to tears.

100% agreed. I've seen some great movies since Moon came out, but none of them have come even close to hitting me as hard as that did. That scene where he class his daughter is one of the most amazing pieces of acting I've ever seen.

I watched the "Dollars" trilogy, starring Clint Eastwood, but it was the second film, "For a Few Dollars More," that blew me away.
I haven't seen For a Few Dollars More, but the most recent movie that's really blown me away is also a Leone movie: Once Upon a Time in the West.

Probably 'You Kill Me'

I went into it knowing nothing about it, and it turned out to be one of the most amazing films i've ever seen

Mulholland Drive. I FINALLY got around to seeing this, and DAMN. I'm just confused, but I couldn't believe what I had seen, and everytime I think of something I hate about it, I immediately fall back in love with the movie.

Synecdoche, NY is another one. By the time that movie ended, I felt enlightened. I'm super serial about it.

And Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Believe the hype. Just do it. It's as epic as epic should be.

Franklyn. I had purchased that movie for 99 cents when Movie Gallery was going out of business. I'd never heard of it but I thought it was gonna be either really good or total crap. I took the risk and wow...It was an amazing film.

It was a little slow at times but it builds up to such a fantastic ending and everything merges together really well.

Anyone out there with Netflix or something, seriously...Franklyn, look it up.

Just last night I watched A recent Korean film called The Good, The Bad, and The Weird on Insta stream via Netflix. It was phenomenal in all aspects including but not limited to the gun fights, the camera work, and the suprising twist ending

As for in theatres I was Blown away by Inception

Probably the last one was The Hurt Locker. Before that, I'd say the end of Children of Men was pretty powerful.

Best movie I've seen in the past year...probably Four Lions, but that's not saying much.

I really wanted to see that (the good the bad and the weird) but it never came out on dvd around here. Although now that you've just sparked my memory of it I think I'll go order it online.

Inception =) Incredible film

Before that it would be Imagine That - mostly because I had really low expectations so compared to what I thought it was gonna be like? But still I thought it was really very good!!

Scott Pilgrim vs The World thought it was some hipster bullshit. Watched it and was great I laughed multiple times and the evil exes are great. 9/10
