I remember that one. Though I just play it at my cousin house from time to time. It was fun just to play VS and spam the crap out of the artillery units lol. But yeah, I guess I should have put the first Warhammer game instead lol.

I think the Horus Heresy might be a little too big. If you think games like Crysis rapes your computer what do you think the Siege of Terra would do to your processor?

yeah but think of it, Playing as Sanguinus and saving the emporer or as dorn, or Russ. Maybe even the emporer himself and faicing down horus. How cool would that be to play as a primarch?

Well Sanguinius dies by Horus for one, Dorn arrived too late to help the Emperor and Russ actually wasnt there for the Siege of Terra. And yes, it would be fun to stride the battlefield as a living god of battle slaying Space Marines by the dozens.

Aside from the short campaign (and some plot elements that to me seemed clichéd for 40K) I enjoyed it. Whilst I'm not good at multiplayer, I really enjoy it. I just feel that more classes could have been added.
With the inquisitoral ending, I feel the next game could be about the Death Watch.
If it is, they have a brilliant opportunity to add more classes and have a better campaign.

Have several pre-set characters, and you choose which one you play as. So, you could play through as DW-captain Titus, formerly of the Ultramarines - or - you could play as DW-Techmarine Blantar, formerly of the Iron Hands. An apothecary, a librarian, a chaplain.

For multiplayer, you know have these classes - tactical, dev/havoc, assault/raptor - techmarine/warsmith, chaplain/dark apostle, librarian...and you get the idea.

Any marine who is part of Deathwatch is not "formerly of" their parent chapter, they are detached by the Ordo Xenos for a mission and are reintegrated at the end of the mission, this could be a week or decades, but they go back to their chapter alive or as gene seed. I haven't played Space Marine yeat but it looks ok, I am just worried that Relic have missed things that are integral to a decent 40k plot and have paid attention to the fluff surrounding it.

Predators, Thunderhawks, Dreadnoughts, even a Titan perhaps. It may require switching characters ala CoD, as a normal Marine can't really "get in" a Titan or Dread, but with the wealth of awesome armor 40k has, it would be a crime to exclude them again.

The other thing I want is MORE FUCKING RACES. Warhammer 40k has 15+ factions and it would be utterly idiotic to only have Orks and Chaos again. In fact, I wouldn't mind if they excluded Orks entirely. They get old pretty fast.

Russ was coming back from Prospero after the fight with the Thousand Sons, Vulkan was injured in the Istvaan V massacre and carried back to Nocturne to recover along with his legion, Corax escaped from the same planet with a meagre amount of forces and retreated back into the tower of the Raven Guard Monastery trying to speed up the process of "recruitment" and creating monstrosities instead (the Weregeld) and Guilleman was off in fighting past Ultramar and too far away to do anything to help Terra.

Vulkan and Corax were both at Isstvan V during the Drop Site Massacre as was the veteran companies of the Iron Hands (and their leader Ferrus). Russ was at Prospero during the Siege of Terra and was delayed by (I think) the Alpha Legion. The only loyal legions that partisipated in the Siege of Terra would be the White Scars, Blood Angels, and the Imperial Fists.

Edit: Yes, that would be a good idea for a game. Tons of conflict, epic battle, and no need to add in all the extra sides to make it too cluster fuckey.

The "gamebreaker" classes like Librarian or Terminatour could be awarded after reaching a certain score like in Battlefront. Same could go for Dreadnought mode. Player with the highest score gets to become the Dread upon the next respawn. It goes without saying that the higher tiered classes should also be allowed customization.

Obviously needs to include more of the races/factions.

Also, it'd be awesome if they ported Last Stand to Space Marine and allowed you to play as established canon heroes like Commissar Yarrick, or Chief Librarian Tigurius, or Captain Shrike and his awesome assault pack/lightning claws combo.

And the sequel should definitely expand to Battlefield proportions. Being able to play battles between Baneblades, Land Raiders, Avatars, Daemon Princes, Squiggoths, and other epic units would be...well epic.

The idea of playing as Yarrick is genius, as long as we get to use his laser eye.

I kinda want the next Space Marine game to be on a jungle planet with the Salamander chapter versus Tyranids, Orks and Chaos. I enjoyed the Vengeance Launcher which was a brilliant weapon. Yet I want my damn Multi Meltas, Eviscerators, (heavy)Flamers and since it's the Salamander chapter introduce a Burning Power Sword / Axe. I really want to do even more damage in the next game and please let the ammo based weapons have a more then generous amount of ammo. Also having a majority of the different Bolter round types mainly the Inferno, Metalstorm and Hellfire types would be a nice touch. It'll be nice you're able to stick with a combat class you like and the game has different routes and maybe even bosses depending on your loadout. Devastator class could blow shit up that's in their way to make paths. Scouts would be more Stealth and Demolition based, Assault would be focused on get right into fight going flying over everything that gets in their way. Finally the Tactical would have a straight forward path yet could follow some of the other paths from the others.

I'd love to play as a chaos space marine. aside from the badassness of it, you could have five different campaigns depending on which chaos god you preffered (fifth would of course be undevided). it'd be a much better version of the morale choice in games, as there would be more than two choices and they wouldn't be "good" or "evil", just different types of evil.

Yeah, he was busy in Ultramar getting his butt handed to him by the Word Bearers. And have you ever noticed that the White Scars hardly get any novel love? They get mentioned in other books but are there any whole books about them?

Yes, in Fire Warrior, the Space Marines we were fighting all suddenly turned to chaos, and yes, in the first Dawn of War game, the eldar revealed that the orks were just a distraction from the real threat of... er... chaos, but in Winter Assault, the eldar came along and tried to stop us fighting the orks, because they were just a distraction from the true... threat... of the necrons? Hm.

Well, at least in Dawn of War 2 they didn't pull that same storyline again! This time the orks were simply an insignificant distraction in the face of the incoming tyranid swarm, as revealed to us by... the eldar. Fuck.

No none of the Heresy Books at least have focused on the white scars although the new one "Age of Darkness" has a 60 page short story about them. Definitely a good read. There are also 5 more releases in the heresy series on thier way out between now and the end of next year according to wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horus_Heresy_(novels) one of them may contain something on them. As for other BL products check thier site but i dont remember seeing anything on them. I for one cant wait for the seige of Terra book
