I just got to the part where you find the Guard Command post. I just stood there for a few minutes squeeing like a little girl. It was exactly how I imagined it would look.chstens said:MORE GUARDSMEN! Seriously, I love the Imperial Guard. "Unspeakable cosmic horrors? Legions of unkillable undead? Ravaging monsters? Let me get my flashlight!"
And possibly Tau or Eldar as well?
The Blood Ravens get a cameo in Space Marine holding the line against Chaos near the end of the game. They're still awesome.JPArbiter said:the Blood Ravens need to be the "Staring Chapter" since they were created for computer games.
Personally I would love to see Space Marine merge with the concept of Space Hulk
Hell, i could think of worse things. It could be like starwars battlefront, but with about nine playable races. Th only problem i can think of is that having nine different types of soldier on screen would be a bit cluster fucky. Although, i supose the warhammer universe is about that sort of frantic all sides war.Scytail said:so basically you want a third person shooter version of the RTS games?Valkyr71 said:Id like to see more races, SpecificallyEldar, Dark eldar, and Tau added in and fight on multiple different planets. Also Like to see Armor (Land raiders, Predators, Rhinos) added in in some way. Terminator Armor and dreadnaughts would be cool. Whats QTE, BTW? Ohh and who would like to see an MMO/Horus Heresy Storyline?
I like this idea, although I'd prefer to see Kharn. It would make a lot more sense in the being healed for performing finishers on your enemies.Project_Omega said:A 'PROPER' chaos plot, I mean who wouldnt like to play as Ahriman or Typhus or even Abaddon himself?Sethran said:WARNING: May contain spoilers.
Ok, for those of you who have played and beaten the recently released Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, you have probably realized that the ending sets the game up for a sequel. And even if they didn't make a direct sequel, there will always be WAR. In the next game, what would you like to see added? What would you like to see removed?
Personally, I want Terminator Armor. I think it'd be fun to stomp around with an autocannon in one hand and a power glove on the other. Perhaps a Dreadnought mode could be added to Multiplayer, where one person plays a Space Marine/Chaos Dreadnought and everyone tries to bring them down, I.E. Juggernaught or Big Daddy modes as seen in Halo and Bioshock.
Why, relic, why do you hate chaos so much -__-
Isn't that the standard warhammer 40k plot though?Slycne said:A story line that isn't a retread of previous Dawn of War titles. Why would you want to fight Kharn? He's a real nice guy after all.JFrog84 said:I like this idea, although I'd prefer to see Kharn. Yeah, I get what you mean, though some craven idiot's going to go 'what about Chaplain?!' which now that I think on it, isn't that bad, though with the Rosarius and jump pack combo, could make it a little broken. Probably have a movement effect on those in proximity. *shrug*Sethran said:Oh, another - more classes in Multiplayer. Who doesn't want to play as a Librarian?
I meant fight as him not againstSoviet Heavy said:Why would you want to fight Kharn? He's a real nice guy after all.JFrog84 said:[snip]
I just would have been nice to see something different for once or at least take the opportunity to introduce an unexpected twist.TheBlackKnight said:Isn't that the standard warhammer 40k plot though?Slycne said:A story line that isn't a retread of previous Dawn of War titles. I mean you could ask Dan Abnett to write the script, but... well those poor sidekicks...
for the potential sequel... well no eldar as opponents... other than that? Less linearity maybe and a slightly deeper combo system with different mêlée attacks and a block system...
Never been good at paying attention above meTheKasp said:Sorry, but you can kill any raptor player by only have open eyes and not get jumped on by surprise. The dodgeroll is incredibly effficient and stops most raptor players in their tracks. I'm playing tactical Marine with pretty much the standard layout (faster spawn, teammates can spawn at my location, bolter, frag grenades, bolter pistol) and I dominate the seize ground modus.therandombear said:Well, first off: I loved Space Marine :3
OT: Multiplayer needs a fix, my experience so far is that assault/raptor with thunderhammer pretty much kills anything...and everyone, well almost everyone, goes assault/raptor when it's unlocked.
And yes, it would be awesome with Dreadnaught and terminator armour
On the note of QTE I didn't see the "press button" sign the first time, but after the first few times I failed I noticed and never bothered me again....except for later near endgame with the chaos marines, no matter how much I clicked the button and how fast, I always lost the QTE against those.
@ QTE: I don't mean those. If you did not finish the game it might be a huge spoiler but in the end is the QTE which I mean.
The downside to having a game based around the Chaos legions is that they dont give much oppertunity for character development. Its either senseless killings, mindless violience, or horrible atrocities. The only Chaos champion that actually does something else is Ahriman and he's stuck on a never ending quest to understand the nature of Tzeentch itself and I dont think that would be exciting from a gameplay stance.Soviet Heavy said:Why would you want to fight Kharn?
